i used small allen screws to attach mine. i had it on with double sided tape for a while and in my opinion it just was'nt secure enough. after some spirited freeway driving, i noticed it coming loose. just a fyi this is also the case with the re-am... tail light cover as well as my buddy has it on his fd.

i smoked the brake lights so the car will be prettymuch completely black.

Well. We do make it for the customer as long as the customer understands the fitment issues that might or might not be existent.
