Because they are broke and it's easier to steal. And unlike the USA, where if someone does not pay someone's price they figure they can get away with it.

I don't hate all replicas, or replica producers, but it's the principle behind it.

not all of us can shell out 2k for headlights thats just F***ing ridiculous and i could care less if they or real or not. sure R magic might lose a little bit of money but imo its not that big of a deal. if people are going to copy them thats whats going to happen so dont cry about it cuz there is nothing you can do about it

lol.. this thread is funny. The lights are HID, that is the main reason they are so expensive. show me another Japanese company that dosnt sell HID kits for around $1500.

I have no issues with how bright they are or the beam pattern.

and your going to tell me that they dont fit??

So lets say you made a product that was time consuming with research, development, blah blah blah so you introduce the product to the market it sells. Then all of a sudden you notice sales are down..?

Then you realize oh someone is copying your hard work

No more food on the table for your family.

Then you become

Get my point?

And whose problem is this? R-Magics?

It's your problem, no one else's. Boo-Hoo.

By your logic, you belong in Socialist China, not the Capitalist USA. It's all about the communal benefit vs doing business.

Could we all please just get back to the issue at hand. Bret do you have any pics with the hood latched and the lights on. Maybe a few night pics as well?? That should settle at least one part of this. Now Rocket...... Do you have any idea how many things you use on a daily basis that someone has copied from another person's idea. I mean if you get the knock off brand of cereal at Wal-mart for your kids the technically your taking food from the workers at general mills.

there is no way of you knowing that. if i were to buy these the first thing i would do is have these replicated by shine or another company. if there is a demand for them and there is a way to make them cheaper then why not.

you are funny !

would love to see you doing that ! lets see how much the HID kit costs +mold+ the glass etc etc + the profit of the company that will copy it
you will be better off with the authentic kit

if you are too poor or can't spend money on ur fd.. then why not just dont freaking fix up ur fd? this is why Japanese ppl scare to make business when they know they are dealing with american people.

You think these companies are dying to replicate parts for you??

If you have 2100 dollars (I sure as hell am not giving you my price on it) for the Kit, and then 1000 for the Mold, then about 300 for the CUSTOM HIDs you need to get to FIT Those holes, and the wiring, and the extra cash for the lexan covers, then that's great. You are really smart for spending 4000 dollars on trying to replicate this kit to get a few hundred dollars return and make 0 profit.

They are not going to get replicated unless there is a massive demand to cover such large expenses. As of yet, there is none. The people that want it, will hold on to it. R-Magic does not even make these unless you order them.

Who the hell are you to say what companies should price stuff at? GTFO.

OMFG. I did not start this thread so people could bash. i just wanted to know if people like the R-magic aerokit. If shine decides to make it I'm in for the buy, but if not I'll just get it imported.
