I don't know if these are still pending for GB. I'd be interested if I know how much wider they are compared to stock.

I hope shineauto can chime in on the answer of how much wider they are compared to stock. I'm thinking 15-25mm? What does it matter anyway though? These fenders are sexy sleek! Rolling them shouldn't even be a problem since they're gonna get sent to the shop to get painted anyway right?

Unfortunately, I do not have the specs on these fenders. But I know for sure they are wider than stock.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit. I think we're going to drop the ball on these fenders. We want create a nice looking OEM fender that is about 20-25 mm wider than stock.

^^ Hmmm...if it comes with the fender vents then I'll be good. Always wanted to keep it semi stockish. If this doesn't happen and you decide on going with the OEM but wider fenders I'd be in for that. Either way, I'm in.
And pertaining to "looks-wise", would like to know if it'll be stock looking with several changes or will it be STOCK. Let us know.

if you guys make the oem fenders, can you guys mold in the side vents instead of the vent being a seperate piece, if so then i think i would be in also

I'd be in for your wider stock version Ken, that would be great. Would it look somewhat like the ones supastar Bruce did on his? I like those. Might have to change my rears to match too. And what kind of price are we looking at for these?

I am interested in ones that look just like the ones pictured at the beginning of the post. The white and the silver FDs.

The front and top profile of the feed fenders are very attractive and updates the car very well. I was considering modeling this profile to the oem fenders, but getting rid of the "lip" above where the tire sits so it will match your oem rear or a subtle flare. Since I've had the opportunity to compare the oem fenders vs feed fenders....... I think feed fenders look way better in terms of profile. Some like the cutout, some dont, which is why we're making something similar with the oem look. You might not be able to tell a difference from the side, but you should from the top or the front of the car. We'd prefer to have the vent attachment separate since we sell a carbon or kevlar replacement, which I feel ads a nice touch. Any competent body shop should be able to mold your vent in if you wish to do so.

That's Carol's (ImStillOnJava) car right? Damn that is sexy.

I love the cutout on the rear of the fender, but that's just me. I do agree with you about getting rid of the little lip though.

I'd be in with OR without the cutout though. And without the lip haha.

Nice! Ken when do you think we'll be able to see a sample of your OEM style fender.
And if you do decide to make the vents a separate piece that be ok with me. I bought your carbon fiber vents a while ago....never put em on yet LoL.

I agree with you ken. The line of the fender from the top is much better than OEM. Sounds like a great project. I like taking the subtle approach but improving on both the lines and functionality (slight flare?). Keep it going!

What about something like EUROU front fenders? Or Final Konnexion front and rear fenders?

$450 a pair.

Trust me guys. These are the fenders all oemish FD guys are looking for. I will discuss in further detail once the project is complete .

The goal was to keep the oemish look when looking at the car from the side. Slightly wider profile from the front (looking at the front of the car) and from the top. Very similar to FEED fenders posted about. Wheel arc ... same height and design as oem. These are fenders non FD owners will most likely pass as oem fenders, but to the FD owner... upgrades the front of the car significantly without without deviating from the oem lines. We chose 20mm wider as opposed to 25mm as we did not want to go too wide for those who do not wish to change the profile of their rear quarters. These fenders will work well with stock body, flared rears, moderately upgraded rear fenders. This is it...

Depending on how quickly these are completed, I might be in for a pair. I really love the idea but am moving forward pretty quickly with my build...

I can't wait for these fenders, I'm stoked!

I forgot to ask, are they made from FRP or something? Or are they just stock fenders modified?

These will be made from FRP. If you want to spend a bit more money, we can always make it out of kevlar or carbon for extra strength and weight savings .

Update: Progress is very good. Project is near completion. Just putting in final touches to make sure both sides are as close as possible.

Side View: Retains oem lines for the most part.

Once the production piece is complete, I will post these with a set of aggressive wheels sizes so you guys can see the difference.
