Here is the very first set of carbon canards (in Plain Weave carbon) we've made for the RE05 front bumper. This was casually mocked with 3m double-sided tape. Proper mounting will require nuts and bolts and drillimg of the front bumper before installing on a car.
cool that you replicated from the actual RE kit. on the 05 bumpers the only way to tell from fake and authentic was the brake duct vents. real were little circles and fake had these weird triangular shape.

Wow. Are you saying the other replicas on the market are not accurate in design? That is new information to me.

Having done further investigation, I believe you are correct.
FD3S REGT Style : RX7 FD3S REGT-Style Aero Body Kit
It is definitely not an accurate design. I believe most of the replicas are coming from the same source in China.

yes. all reps i have seen on the 05 bumper dont have small circles like theyre are supposed to be. i guess one person copied it that way other people copied the rep. making it an inaccurate version. im sure most people arent aware of this. it was the only way i can tell by looking at it if its real or not without taking the bumper off and looking for the RE sticker.
yeah. me and many others believe that car has mostly rep parts on it. the hood and bumper fitment is bad. it also had te37 reps on it when i first saw pics of it. it now has a real set of te's on there. im sure the car was build with rep parts. i talk to ken from car shop glow a lot and there are rep parts in japan being used. not everyone there uses real stuff even though its local for them

BIG shoutout to Ken and ShineAuto! They have been a huge asset to the community when it comes to making some pretty expensive/rare parts accessible. He's a shot of my bumper that came in the other day. I just couldn't wait to fit it up so I went to work! fitment is spot on. I am running a GReddy Front mount so I did have to make some minor trimming of the front ducting as well as the brake ducts. In the future when/if I upgrade to a Vmount it will be very easy to reattach the material I cut off as I did it very carefully to preserve the left overs.

A few customers requested us to produce a bumper where the bottom lip portion is made out of carbon or carbon-kevlar to mimic the look of the original first generation RE-Amemiya bumper which had a detachable front lip diffuser.
We're finishing up on the first request for a carbon-kevlar accented bottom and it turned out great. I will be posting pics as soon as it is done. We will most likely be offering this option for extra if anyone else wants to go this route just to be a bit different.

Front bumper with Plain Weave Carbon-Kevlar accent. We always overshoot the carbon or kevlar fabric a taf bit, so the customer has more area to work when deciding where he wants his cutoff accent line to be. It's safer to overshoot than risk under covering. So as an important note, where we stop is not always where the cutoff line has to be. This bumper is the first of its kind paying tribute to the older RE bumper which came as a two-piece (bumper + front lip diffuser) setup. The 05 bumper has integrated brake duct openings, which the older original version did not have.
