Alright guys. I spoke with numerous individuals and it seems the spoiler is fine the way it is. Especially for guys who are more into the stock look, the conservative look is more appealing.
I will have it made the way it is. The more aggressive spoiler will be a project months from now
.

Also, could you take a picture of the spoiler from above the rear hatch looking down? Like if someone were standing on an elevated level looking at the car from the top?
Thanks Ken,
Charlie

I wanted something closer to this.

The mounting will not change. 3m double-sided tape is actually very strong. If you got two square wooden boards and stuck them together with 3 long strips of double-sided tape evenly distributed, you would not be able to pry it open again with your bare hands
. That's how strong it is.

There's really no other solution. If you make it all the way to the trunk, you would have to drill holes in the trunk. I wouldnt want to do that.
It would be difficult to take off with your hands, but with a flathead screwdriver and some force, it will come off
.
I can be the guinea pig for this spoiler, not a problem

Don't get me wrong, I love the way this looks and I was planning something similar... but I just can't permanently tape something to my car like that.
I like it the way it is too.. I'd buy one... lol
That corvette one is fugly IMO.. But I see where you were going.. More Top Fuel-ish looking like the spoiler everyone wanted.. I still like your design better.
