I ordered them through Rishie at Autornd a couple years back... Not sure if Work still makes them, I can't find them on their website anymore.

That was my original concern and I had them made in steel at one point, but my body and paint guy MAKITO assured me the fiberglass will be fine and he was right. The trick is to use the right material to bond/fuse the flare to the quarter panel... so far so good.

I don't have the steel ones anymore, I sold them to a forum member here that was mass producing them last I checked...

I thought I would post up a few pics of the modified USDM rebar (better than nothing), I decided to add it to help hold the bumper better, you can now have attachment points under the center opening. I tried fitting the 99 spec rebar, but the license plate section gets in the way.

The modification is similar to that making it work with the 99 spec front end, but you need to trim/shave the areas above the oil coolers. What I did was shave them back so there is about a 3/4-1" gap between the two sections pictured.

If you do this you will just have to play with it, besure you were safety glass, face shield, gloves, long sleeves, and a respirator! And do it in a WELL ventilated area!!!

Other than that its a direct fit! LOL

What I did was shave them back so there is about a 3/4-1" gap between the two sections pictured. This is also before I cleaned them up a bit more to make them more symetrical (not that anyone will see LOL)

Ken,

I replied to your post in the West section regarding the referee a while ago.

Thanks again for all your help with my car. Here's two before-and-after pics.

yes

the fenders are more a flare at the top of the arch. not a "true" wide body.

hi, i wanted to know what were the modifications to make the front fenders fit, i read in the thread you have to "depending on how much of the inner lip is trimmed"

do that.... and i dont quit understand what you mean, and will this fit any bumper. let me be more precise im getting the GT-Concept from the forum GB, is that a fit?

Just like any body panel you get made from fiberglass it will 98% of the time take some work to get it to fit perfectly. Not every car is the same. To get them to fit isn't surgery.

the Fenders flare out at the wheel arches, but at the front (where it meets the bumper) and rear (where it meets the door) are the stock width. You can mix and match any bumper (non wide-body) with these fenders.

Will the burnout front bumper have the same holes as the stock 94 bumper as far as the undertray/splitter goes? I made a bunch of custom fit spacers and drilled the undertray to mount onto the oem lip/bumper. Will the burnout require different holes now?

No, before I replaced my burnout front bumper with the feed 2r front, I had the stock under-tray fitted without any problems.

Following my research concerning wheel specs that will give my car the look of the car depicted on the first page (yes the black one) and after talking with Ken as well, I was suggested to go with 18X9.5 +22 and 18X10.5 +22.

The thing is that I considered such specs quite extreme in terms of wheel width and of course price.
After reviewing my options, taking into account the looks and price of the wheel; I ended up choosing a wheel with different than suggested specs.

In order to calculate the spacers my wheels will need, I created the attached xls.
The “correct” spacers are the ones in yellow background.

Hope it helps anyone with similar "wheel case".
