Aww. I totally forgot about the undertray. Good thing i have tons to do on the car, so she won't be on the road just yet. However, i'm going to have to make another order from you in a month or so for it :D

Juiceh 07-18-06 10:10 AM

Will that rear bumper work with a diffuser?

I'm not sure about this. I'm sure it can be done with some customization. But i know the diffuser would sit really low. It already sits low with the stock bumper.

Ehron 07-20-06 01:02 AM

What diameter wheels are on the silver car?

shineautoproject 07-20-06 09:50 PM

17's

*RX007* 07-21-06 03:13 AM

no way, im pretty sure that theyre 19's

rx7playa 07-21-06 08:26 AM

A couple stupid questions real quick.

-Are the 99 spec turn signals used in this kit? Also are they included or would I have to get them somewhere else
-How much does a body shop usually charge to instal a body kit
- I know you had a group buy on this kit before, but I didnt have the money to do it then, but is there a discount for purchasing the entire kit?

I would really like to get this kit within the next month, I am getting a few small dents taken out of my car and having it repainted.

He's talking about Ken's silver FD. That car has 17's on it NOT the burnout car.

Ehron 07-21-06 09:18 AM

Yeah, I was talking about the silver car. I am just trying to get an idea on what wheel size I will get. Definitely not 17s. :-)

Aeka GSR 07-21-06 09:43 AM

dude you guys are at the Safari business complex? I used to work there a couple of years ago. LOL had a green turbo integra at the time.

oh my bad didnt see where he said silver car

RX7Hunter 07-24-06 01:12 PM

http://www.ks-auto.com/turning/democar/kd1_2/spec.html

here's the sizes and offsets of the wheels on the demo car, which I think are just about perfect.

5 Spoke versions of the same wheels would look amazing

Farhan 07-24-06 01:36 PM

They look perfect on the car, but don't take advantage of the widebody at ALL. 215 in the front, WTF?

Speedworks 07-26-06 08:23 AM

it's for the 'stretched' look. Here in Europe they put 205' on a 9 wide or so. Just to obtain that bigger look.

BAX just called my kit will be delivered tomorrow. I hope they took good care of it :-)

Spank 07-26-06 01:49 PM

Please let me know how much wider the front fenders are than stock. Also how much width does the flares in back add. I have the Pettit on my race car and am looking for something different for the street car.

Also how long does it take to receive product from order to receipt?

Thanks

Allan

Aeka GSR 07-26-06 09:02 PM

i got my fenders an sideskirts. so far the fit is better than most. Still needs some love to get it to fit just right. I'll post some pics when i get my chargespeed overfenders in.

Speedworks 07-27-06 05:08 AM

Got my kit today... woehaa :-)

Ken, what to you recommend as a fixation medium for the rear taillight cover?

Maybe it's best to put double sided tape on the center stoplight and kit on the L and R taillight. For future replacement of lights or similar?

Neal

shineautoproject 07-31-06 02:02 PM

i would put double-sided tape but very lightly.

Speedworks 07-31-06 02:45 PM

ok thanx, still have some of that automotive 3M stuff.

Kit looks great.
