i have a drivers side fd door that is just sitting around if you need it, id be down for a set of fd doors eventully when the money is available. i would want them without the mount for stock mirrors, to instead run the craftsquar style mirrors that mount in that corner trim piece area, i think that would give a very nice look to any fd. send me a pm if you need my fd door for mold making, i can strip all the window crap out of it and ship it off

if fd doors are needed i can provide both since I still need a new motor so my car won't be drivable for a few months. I'm in Seattle by the way.

well, I am losing hope with this prospect. I would be more then happy to ship my TII doors, but like everyone else, mine also have the bumpy rock guard stamping on the bottom of the doors. Secondly looking from a post earlier, ken supposedly said the doors are not needed anymore; which makes me wonder what could be the problem/holdup now. If anyone can point me to another direction on how to find something similar to these frp doors, I would greatly appreciate it.

If needed I can remove the texture on the lower parts of the door, smooth, prep for molding, and send them in.
I don't have any perfect doors but if Shine is willing to give me a good deal on the doors I will find some good doors and remove the texture, do body work, and ship them to them to use as molds.

I spoke with Ken yesterday and apparently the doors he had lined up from JT have not been dropped off, part of the reason he wanted doors from someone local was for fitment checking etc. That is the preferred situation, if you are local and have T2 doors only that you dont mind leaving with Ken, it will give you the first dibs, first part made for doing so, let Ken know. If you are not local but have doors and a car they go to that can all be used at once time to check/perfect fitment and don't mind shipping the doors/car let Ken know.

This is the status of this project, available but no part to work from currently.

more then happy to send mine off, they are genuine TII coupe doors, car has never been in a accident. My location is pretty far from shine though, that's the only problem. Ill take my doors off and start stripping them down just in case no one else comes through. Any advice on how to ship them? I got a pallet, would that be the best way?

Alright guys. Since there is alot of speculation about what is going on .... you guys should have your own TV channel .... I will tell you guys whats really been going on.

JDMGTdriver has the doors and is local. Apparantly, it is still on his car, so I have not yet seen them. He doesn't want his car doorless for too long for whatever reason, so he is waiting for me to tell him to bring the doors down.

We have been busy with other projects we have to complete as well so I have not asked for the doors but JDMGTdriver is more than welcomed to come and drop off his doors anytime. Even if I the doors today, it would not matter as I cannot jump on the project until I complete these other projects.

That is why I have been rejecting offers to have doors shipped to us because its costly and unnnecessary at this point in time UNLESS JDMGTdiver decides not to offer his doors...

Ken

I'm very interested in these.
I would prefer them to not have the trim groove in them personally. Otherwise I'd have to body fill them and paint the doors, but I'd like to just keep them as a raw gloss carbon. Not sure how possible that would be...

JKL Engineering apparently did a nice 6 piece CF Interior for the FD and then had some issues in delivering. If Shine made them, I think there would be a bit more trust in the product being delivered in a timely fashion...or at least better communication.

Should I drop off the whole car or just the doors? Will you be needing the interior pieces? What do you want me to bring in with the doors???
