Pics of Shine hood in action!!!

As for the durability of the zipties: i didn't wreck or anything, but look how low my car is and not once during the day did my aero come off. Even a couple of times backing it into the dirt pretty fast off course.

Underhood temps with V-mount and Shine hood were pegged right at -30*C. If you got too close, instant frostbite.

Maybe we can start a second GB, since I will be in the market for a hood too!

Shine, would that be possible, if so how many people do we need to make it happen?

I'm far too broke for any kind of group buy. I just meant to say that it's nice, and I'd love to have it.

Shipping for the hood is $125.

No group buys at the moment. Our production team is very busy at the moment. A group buy will be too overwhelming. We have no hoods in stock. These are all made to order at this point. $475 for FRP.

Let me know if you guys have any further questions.

Ken,

Can they be made in CF? If so how much?

We've made them in CF before. I believe we can do a CF version for $750.

Also, this will work with your top mount.

More use... more hood:

Also, my hood flipped up and smashed my winshield late in the day (friend forgot my hood pins). So uh... now I need to do a little bit of repair. But considering the damage to the glass, the FRP is REALLY strong. And flexible too. It's still together, minus some minor chips and cracks.

Good photos...

The hood's style is growing on me, but I'd have to do it in CF...
