FC3S.....Sexy Style Hood. It's here.... who's in?

Alright guys. The hood is here. Not everyone who was on the list has made their $200 deposit yet. For those that did leave a deposit, Price will be $425. For those who DIDN'T leave a deposit, price is $475 if you want to jump in right now. Retail price will be $550. Need AT LEAST 15 interested buyers BEFORE we even start on the project. Just to give you guys a clue what our schedule is, I will show you a list of projects that NEED to be started on from today. Every item on the list takes about 1-2 weeks to do. Now you guys tell ME what the ETA on this FC3S Sexy Style hood is???? :) No 15 interested buyers, no go..... there is no shortage of work. As soon as we get 15 interested buyers WITH payment/deposit, we'll jump on the project asap. Ken |

I like this hood, but whats the time frame look like after all the deposits are in? if it cant be done(shipped) by OCT ill probably end up getting frustrated, get my deposit back and go somewhere else. this already happend with 5one5 and their hood lets hope not with this one. if the deposits get to 10 soon, ill throw mine down too.

We usually don't dissapoint when it comes to making stuff. However, I can't promise a time frame since we do have alot of things to do at the moment. However, getting everyone's commitment (deposits) does give us more of an incentive to work on a project.

Its cheaper because its cheaper to get . Plus. The orginal sexy style hood is only like $600 so we can't price it over that. |

Man that thing is nice… but I always wondered what happens when it rains? Is there any part that would be greatly affected by the rain?

^ nope, the way it works is it pushes air out while your driveing but when you are standing still im pretty sure that i will only hit your rad and fan

whats everyone's deal with water in the engine bay? doesn't anyone realize that water comes in the front of your car and goes through the radiator and into the engine bay? and splashes up from underneath? hasn't anyone ever heard of washing their engine bay?
unless you have a 4ag and water fills up the spark plug channels (or whatever their called), water's not gonna hurt nuthin'... I will be trying to get on this list soon... I've got a lot of work hours in the next few weeks so hopefully. I could really use this hood for my v-mount... and to save some weight. |
the water is a nonissue. ideally though the purpose of the vents is not only for the fan to push air out but for it to be pulled out. think it'd work a little better with the vents beginning a bit farther forward but then you get into how itll look aesthetically

that hood is slightly different than mine. i have 4-5 vents which have a support inbetween each one and also a little lip to catch any water at the bottom of each vent (not that it's really needed)

yes, i just saw the hood in person today, it does have a hatch...... and it will clear a stock fan shroud

Where is everyone who promised a deposit? There were like 20 people in that thread, and now when it actually comes down to it we only have 5? No wonder FC owners have such a bad rep...
