sexy style hood.....

ok everyone..... for those who are interested in getting this hood, but never venture out of this section...... there is a group buy going on right now for the sexy style hood..... a must have for you v-mount people... and a very nice hood for everyone else to have

shineauto has real hood that they bought, but they need deposits from 15 people otherwise they wont produce it due to lack of interest.... 4 of us have already sent in our deposits, so we need 11 more buyers...... heres the link w/ alot of pics (scroll to bottom of first page for pics of hood on the car)

I have this hood in CF and it barely clears the stock shroud. with stock shroud and clutch fan setup on the last vent is functional, much more functional with an Efan

You won't find another hood like this for our cars (especially not under $800). We need your deposits!

Buy Genuine Parts! Shineauto is the king of knock-offs! I believe your hurting the REAL Businesses that design these parts by buying Shineauto copies/fakes!

oh really......... well tell those "real businesses" to open up shop here in the US of A, and not charge thousands of dollars for something we can get for hundreds! i really dont feel like spending more than i have to just for a label! especially on a part that is just for looks (and ive seen the sexy hood in person, and it isnt made very well! shine has already said they are gonna fix all the flaws, and make it stronger)... so, pay 1k for a cheaply made "genuine" part, or pay shine 500 for a better, stronger hood...hhhhhmmmmmm

and shineauto only remakes products that are either discontinued or are very hard to get! this is one company i will stand up for! these guys are only here to help us out! they spend so much time tracking down very rare fc parts, and remaking them for us at a reasonable price, so people who dont make much money can afford to do these things! and 90% of the time, shine makes each part better than the original!

The REAL businesses.....so are you saying that Shine Auto is not a "real" business? Are you implying under-the-table shady acts by producing a product with looks/styling the same as another?

You need to read up on copyright law my friend.

Otherwise Porsche would sue all us owners because we "knocked off" the 944.

id love to look at your car and tell you whats not a "genuine" part on your car!

so what kind of wheels do you have? cause im sure they are "cheap knock-offs" ... what about your starter, alternator, clutch... im sure they arent oem mazda.... so that makes them "cheap knock-offs" ......what about your tires? are they goodyears? if not, then they arent the "original" tire manufacturer..

Uhh, your kinda veering off course on this one. Running a Toyo/Falken/Pirelli/Etc. tire that is different than the Goodyear that came on the car is not the same as making a mold of a goodyear tire to reproduce it then slapping your name on top of the design and selling it.

I think the arguement is not about using parts genuine TO THE CAR. Its about buying parts/designs genuine to the maker.

well, i was referring to tires in general...but you make a good point......

and in reference to slapping your name on a copy.... most knock-offs are still labeled as the same name as the original.... gp sport - "gp style"
most companies dont try to claim it as their own design, just try to remake something that most people cant afford, and sell it at an affordable price! we arent all rich..... i for one bought the gp sport knock-off from raceonusa, and after minor body work,i doubt anyone can tell the difference, yet i saved about a thousand dollars by not buying the original

TO whom that does not like replicas

I never seen the quality of shineauto, but heard enough good things about them, and if i had the money i will turn to them for exterior parts. I do not see why, just because they REPLICATE something at a higher quality and cheaper price (no need to import the bitch here) that it presents a problem. not everyone have 1k to drop on a stupid original panspeed hood, god damn it im so broke im trying to buy a aluminum n/a hood from the locals at a pretty nice price, but i still cant afford it (under 100) so what makes you think everyone and their mothers got one grand laying around to slap a hood on their car? I work at a shop, i seen quite a number of people that cant even drop 800 dollars to do a headgasket job and end up junking their car. so bottom line, if something is good quality and affordable, WHY would you even argue with that. man if one of the locals made a 500 turbo kit that is proven higher quality then say (i dont know i dont play with turbos too much...) Greddy? garrett? then well im gonna buy my *** a 500 dollar turbo kit.

bottom line, money talks bullshit walks, stop bashing people's business and go get some help.

and uhh.. sorry i really dont got the dollar to purchase anything right now, but if i did i would gladly.
