I will take one of these with the center diverter in about a month or so. Will I have to mod my exhaust like the pic tho? Here is what it looks like now.

Oh, and here is another pic with your lip. I like it a lot.

some diffusers will have to be cut depending on your exhaust. That is done quite often.

No, your exhaust is similar to the second pic so you shouldn't have and issue.

I think the reason why the exhaust is modded and raised so high in the first pic is for equal airflow on each side of the diffuser for even downforce. Note the second pic, see how much area for airflow on the left side of the diffuser that the muffler blocks? Because of this the right side of the diffuser might create slightly more downforce. Weather this is needed or even noticable, I doubt it.

Hmm, I wonder how bad the fitment will be with the bigass RB REVII turbo canisters.

the diffuser is definitely for an FC

Apexn1 exhaust. no cutting required.

Well the one you see is the actual RE-amemiya one. Whether or not it has been tested to be functional, who knows. We just know we can make it 99% the same .

Its not the air flowing on either side of the tunnel (green) that creates the downforce. Its the air flowing directly thru the middle(red) of the tunnel that does it. Simple aerodynamic test: Take a strip of paper 6inches long and an inch wide and hold it up to your bottom lip on one end. Blow straight out and the paper will rise up because of the air flowing across the top of it. Thats exactly what the tunnel does except its upside down. Therefor sucking the car down instead of up.

^Yup, I was wondering when someone would finally say something. Yes the MAIN function of the difuser is the suction effect created by the underside. However the green areas you pointed out I believe are angled with an upwards curve at the rear and the airflow over them does help to create some downforce too, which is probably why that one pic has the muffler so high up. But yeah the majority of the downforce is created by the suction created by the middle section.

hey shieautoproject i have a quick question... i want the diffuser but im getting the gp sports drift body kit for my car and i was wondering if this would include cutting/modifing the rear bumper for it to work? is there a group buy? if yes whats the deposit? the diffuser comes the way in the 2nd pic (orange)? pm me

I highly doubt this will work with the gp sports rear bumper without some major cutting. The gp sports rear bumper is low as it is. This diffuser wont survive one day.

No group buy. Just straight up price.
