also, on the subject at hand, there is an FD cover group buy going on somewhere, that i think had some good ideas. first off, they were going from the feed price of like 220 to somewhere around 100 or so, so thats something to look forward too. secondly, they had 2 ways to attach it, so we have those options too. (3m double sided tape, and fancy stainless pop rivets) so thats something to think about.

You guys know there is a GB interest thread for Attain replicas in the GB Interest section right?

 

Yep. Gotta have a back up. Although not as much interest for the SAME product.

I think the problem is that the GB Interest section is sorta tucked away, and most people don't know that thread is in there. Funny thing is all they need is a handful of people to jump on before they can actually go ahead with it.

i dont care who they are from as long as they are decent quality - with this much interest, the price will probably very nice too!

 

is there a difference between the FC and FD one? i think we can get one hell of a good price if we stick with this and get shine interested.

 

The FC and FD attain bumper guards are obviously different... Go to the "Group Buy Center", then click "Group Buy Interest" there is a vendor actively trying to get this done. Shine doesn't seem to have time to do this, from what I've heard they are extremely loaded with projects. So you might be waiting a VERY long time. Some of us don't want to wait.

First, we have no intention in hi-jacking Ken's vendor thread or his project. Since Ken is too busy to take on this project, we will be running this GB.

Hope Ken doesn't mind me posting a little announcement here just to let everyone know.

We are currently only offering S5 bumper guards due to the fact that Attain cannot produce anymore S4 guards because they no longer have the mold. A new GB thread will be started next week or so. Thanks to Ken and everyone interested!

 

I have a friend which will be producing these here in the USA.. I was looking for a set of these and heard from a college buddy that said that he can make these and get them cut on a CNC... I will let you know soon...
