I though you were going to make your own rear fender?

Please more pics from rear. Need to see clearance. Thanks HC.

i actually did a photo shoot of how i did the whole installation which might be helpful to any wishing to do the install themselves.

i do not have a paint booth, am not really a body guy but i did sleep at a ...... last night.

the final current paint finish is an exact match to my Audi 2000 Cool White but was sprayed using a hand held Preval. as a result it has a dimpled finish.

the last place my car will ever be is a body shop what with the effort i have on my many one of a kind mods. i do plan to have it painted this winter however by a guy i know who does show quality work at his home. at that time it will be an easy task to resand my hand painted areas and shoot them pro-style.

so i am driving around w a slightly unfinished patina in the flare area. the body work however i am absolutely really happy with.

lots of bondo, lots of sanding, lots of sanding, lots of priming. it is not a job to do if you are in a hurry. it took me a week.

the clearance is perfect for my Enkei NTO+3M 18 X 10.5 +30 MM offset w 285/30. i will be running either 295s or 305s next year.

i am not a "show" guy. i am a "go" guy. they are on the car because w 500-600 rwhp you need the above wheel sizing and rubber to plant the rear on a road course. i am aware that aesthetics is personal so you are free to like them or not.

they work for me.

i will post some additional pics in the next day or so. if there is an interest in a "how i did it" series i can also be of help.

you can do it too.

i was told not to use these fiberglass widebody flares even though i have then...if i dont want it to eventually crack... im gonna have a bodyshop cut the fender in places then pull and reweld...

what do you think guys?

as promised here are 10 pics of my Burnout flares...

the first picture is of my engine. that's the sole reason my the flares are on my car. if you look closely you will see two Garrett To4s, each capable of making 300 rwhp at less than 23 psi without breaking a sweat... target hp is 630.

that's why i needed the 10.5 rear wheels and the 9.5s to balance it out. 10.5s don't work w the stock fenders by .625 of an inch. the Burnouts are perfect... they provide just the right amount of clearance to run 305s easily and don't look like the godawful Pettit flares. sorry Cam

i run my car low. low is fast. 25 inches at the top of the wheelwells front and rear. you might get away w running 10.5s if you jacked up the car. and you would have just made a losing trade if going fast is the deal...

find the second turbo...

here are the flares. as mentioned previously they do not have the finish paint on them. summers are short in wisconsin and i will have the finish paint done in november...

given the fact that they are understated and work w the optimum tire/wheel package i really like my flares.

Get the flares, and then get the rims from me. hehe. I still work the special deal for guys who are rocking burnout.

I'll do package deals on Shine Auto Spec B stuff and Enkei wheels if purchased together. Just let me know.

Thanks a lot hc, was waiting for days to get some real deal pics.

the burnouts are fender flares that go on your stock quarter panels. We offer the flares.

Howard, are your front fenders stock, or did you go wider there as well?

I dunno what he actually did but,
you can pull/roll the rear oem sheetmetal fenders to fit the burnouts
OR
for the most clearance, you can cut the outside sheetmetal up to the top of the wheel well ceiling then pull the inner sheetmetal outward and reweld them together/shut ending with a silicone sealant and paint it
