SevenStock9 was awesome, I started going with SevenStock4, and it has really grown. This time I went to spread the word about the How-To Pages, and the SevenStock guys gave us a free 10x10 spot because it's a community project. I put together a display board (science fair style!) and had some handouts for people to pick up. My brother came with me, and we were around to answer questions and let people know about the project (i.e. it's a community-driven reference project whose goal is to strengthen forum communities).
I got to talk with some very interesting rotary fanatics from the USA and beyond. One was an engine builder who came all the way from Sweden. He’s been building performance engines for some time, and is apparently involved in rotary rally cars over there. Another was a moderator from a South American rotary forum who was very interested in seeing this reference project in action. Most people were very interested once they got what the site's all about, and those who weren't were mainly FB and FD owners, because the site's all FC reference right now (as soon as FB and FD guys post there, that will change). Here's what our "booth" looked like, along with some unusual rotary vehicles:

Thats awesome that you set up a booth at seven stock. I really wish I could have come this year, but I just didn't have the money, its all going to get my car running again.
That writeup is really awesome. I didn't read it in detail yet (too tired to comprehend technical stuff) but it looks really cool from the skimming. The whole site is looking really good. I'll start post some on there once I get my car straightened out and get caught up on school stuff.

Thanks guys, I'm glad we went. We had no chairs and no tent, so we slathered on the sunscreen and used the Rtek tent for shade now and then (they were right next to us, you can see it under the red tent). It was cool to talk with Mike about the Rtek story, I love hearing about community-based projects like that. Magnaflow was on the other side of us, it was also interesting to hear about how that company runs. It's a big company with a small company atmosphere.
I guess I'm lucky that I live within a few hours of Irvine, the drive from Texas would be an investment!

I'm still perfecting it on my N/A - I have no way of doing the data logging for a turbo AFM, so only do it if you know what you're getting into. This swap changes the most important EFI sensor; bad things can happen with air to fuel ratio if it's not done just right. I believe an SAFC (in conversion mode) can take the place of a custom conversion circuit. You still need to fill in the correct conversion values though, and for that, you'll need a two-channel oscilloscope to collect data, and curve-fitting to get the right values.

Thanks! I'll get back to the MAF project in a few days. People really liked the idea of the Community Service Manual by the way, which is largely your reference so far. Lots of good info there.
