Is it ok for us v8 guys to come out? I know 2 out of the 3 meets I went to we were asked to leave. And is there a charge/ donation to get in?

 

I would say that the "pissed on" guys could come, but I am not an event organizer. However you guys have to realize that a majority of the community that will be there will look down on you. It took engineering and money to do what you did but many think you removed the soul of the car by doing it. Just my 2 cents

 

Being asked to leave that's bullshit right there. That shows no class for the people of those meets.

I've seen V8 conversions at 7stock before and they were never asked to leave, and as far I know people didn't give them ****. And no there isn't a charge/donation required to get in or to show your car.

 

Sweet can't wait to see all the 7's. Hopefuly my car will be painted by then.

That sounds like a plan. Let's just hope we have people on eitherside of it with open minds.

 

I have not been let in to many muscle car car shows, but I was ok with it because I didn't belong there. I actually like the idea of an ls1,2,6 or whatever in an rx-7 and I think they should let in the V8 guys because it is sevenstock not rotarystock, if it was rotarystock then I would say no V8s should enter.

 

+1 I honestly wouldn't mind seeing some V8 swapped rx7s there either. Those guys love the 7 just as much as we do, well ok, maybe a little less, but still let them in if they aren't allowed already.

 

aahhh... the same stuff every year!! V8 guys are welcome. We just ask that everyone be cool. SevenStock has never asked anyone to leave because they had a V8 in their RXs.

Don't get is wrong.... SevenStock is all about the ROTARY ENGINE. It is a show dedicated to all things ROTARY! The SS name is brand now, but SevenStock is a 100% RE focused event.

Because this is a RE focused event, does not mean a few other RX bros and Mazda piston rides are not welcome. ;-) The focus is still RE!!!

other mazda piston race cars are ok to see but IMHO, its an insult to see a piston powered RX-7. Rotarize that **** or go home.
