We won't have our usual Friday night karting but we're looking into a mixer type hangout at a local watering hole.
We're at the venue today doing final planning and hoping to scout out a location for Friday night that wouldn't mind having 100+ of us invading.

Folks, we need to get this message across...

If you are bringing a canopy or EZ-Up, please bring some anchors or anything effective to hold it down.

We encountered some serious winds this weekend @ the track. On previous visits we hadn't much more than a strong breeze.

Let's help each other prevent a 10x10 EZ-Up from flying 50 feet onto someone's car!

We also suggest umbrellas if you'll be watching from the bleachers, that sun was bright!

Help. Ride up to Sevenstock needed on Friday, and ride back to San Diego Sunday. Will pay for half your gas. I have my hotel room and roomie situation all tied up, just not enough cash or wheels (ah, last minute drama o.0....).

^^ good call, I've had one of mine get blown away when I was out on track toolbox, spare tire, floor jack, and some bungee chords/rope fixed that problem

One question: for the track day people... is there going to be an air conditioned building we can hang out in? They must have an admin office there... I know they can't sit around in 90-100+* heat all summer w/o A/C

zilvinas: the gates will open up around 8 am and the show goes on at the same time as the track. Show usually wraps up around 4 o'clock.

I had a question, if we dont drive in with the caravan will we still be able to park our RE vehicles inside the event with the rest of the caravan? and is it a first come first serve type of deal?

the caravan has priority parking, all others will be parked in the show afterwards.

only the main carvan organized by the SoCal RX club will have priority. I'll be leading that group Saturday morning as we make our descent to the Raceway.

There are other caravans organizing that are meeting up with us before departing for Willow.
