small issue...

Guys,
If you have called the Hilton and they stated that all SevenStock rooms were taken or no longer available, please disregard this for now, and hang-on a bit, while we work this out with them. The room allotment (especially Friday) went pretty fast, and we are increasing the reservatin block to accomodate more guests. We are working to clear this up with them ASAP, and should have answer by tomorrow 07-01-05. Apologies for the inconvenience and please stay tuned.

Thank you Bern for setting it up.

Now, I am read for my 2'nd "rotary-fundalizm" of my life. Just have to Grab some of those Banquet tickets.

I have never looked forward to October as much as I am now....

Booked last night, getting there on Thursday and staying until Monday, so I can relax in the bar before hand.

Shame that they are charging me extra for the Thursday and Sunday nights.

Can anyone recommend a decent hire car company?

Thanks

Fish,

Check with Berny. I've gotta believe that they can extend the same rate to you for Thursday and Sunday night. Coming all the way from the UK, exceptions need to be made.

Fish,
I'm checking with our Hilton contact about getting all your days in line with the Sevenstock rate. Stay tuned!
The car service I recommend is BLS Limousine. 800/843-5752 or 323/644-7166. 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Best service in Southern California!

Dan, per our conversation. You're all taken care of.

If anyone else runs into the same glitch let us know and we'll get it squared. Thanks

you mean a rental place for a car? AVIS is pretty cheap. Try using orbitz to book a car, they can give you all rates.

Meiogirl, thanks. I've spent the last couple of days at work searching all the different websites (Budget, Hertz, Avis, Thirty, etc. etc.) Just not sure if I need all the insurance, wavers, etc. etc.

Your insurance is a real nightmare.

Hi.

Whenever we go to the US, we book the rentalcar from home. Like you say, the insurance hassle in the US is a jungle. There seemes to be insurance for everything, but it is costly.

However, ordering the car trough local companies here in Norway leaves all "jungle", and they give you a fair deal too.

Try to look up cheap rentalcompanies in the UK that work with US rentalcar companies.

We used : www.suncars.no , but of course they are in Norway, and may not be favourable for you.

See you at SS8.

;-)

I wanna go. So what exactly takes place at each Sevenstock event? Geez, you even gave it a one of kind name. Florida seriously needs to do something like this....with a unique name as well.

Carl, the info you've posted is incorrect. Rooms are still available at the SS rate.
