We had some trouble on the dyno, couldn't go above 6000rpm since we had a timming issue.

The last numbers I saw were approx. 380rwhp, 360ft lbs @ 8psi @ 6000rpm.

Since time was limited and we couldnt figure out the issue, Im driving to Texas to have Steve Kan do the rest of the tuning and diagnose the timming issue.

Its a 1400 mile trip from L.A. to Fort Wurth Texas, but the car is crazy to drive. The power comes on strong and its a blast to drive.

Currently in Phoenix Arizona, driving the rest of the way tommorow.

Will post the final numbers hopefully in a few days.

SS 9 was a great time, good people and amazing cars!

The less you boost a rotary, the more reliable it is. N/a rotaries have been known to last over 250,000 miles. There's nothing crazy about driving a 2 or 3 rotor FD cross country, I've done it about 6 times and never had a problem......also hit 170 a few times along the way

black93rx7, those dyno figures are nuts considering you had 2k more rpm to go.....

I would be happy to only run 8-14psi of boost on this car, its completely nuts on the highway.

Its tempting to just keep on driving, but gotta get back to the real world soon. Its already snowing where Im from and not even sure how the car is going to make it back.

Will be in the U.S. for probably another week or so.

The plan is: Leave Phoenix tommorow morning - Fort Worth - Las Vegas - L.A. - San fransisco - Vancouver - Calgary

Saw your car parked right in the front at K1 on Friday night. Just wanted to say THANKS for coming down to our lil BBQ! I hope you get the front end fixed soon and trek it down here for SSX again. I'll get your SS dinner!
