Just curious, how many "Renown" 787b's are out there around the world?

2. Both from the 1991 race. There was a third 4-Rotor that competed in 1991 as well, the 787.

um, i thought only one of the 787b's had the renown graphics. the other one that competed in the same race had different graphics, the blue 'n white mazda scheme

so, according to paul frere's r&t article a few years ago, in addition to the 3 race entries in '91 mazda also had a reserve car. wonder what happened to that one?

It'd be neat to know where the 717C, 727C, 737C, 757, 767, and the 767B all are.

Talking Downing/Atlanta To Bring RX-792P Cars To Sevenstock

I won't miss seeing the 787B this year, as Jim Downing will be bringing at least one of the RX-792P IMSA cars that his group ran here in the States for a few years. I have heard from Holly that Downing/Atlanta was restoring the vehicle(s) for Mazda, and that they will also bring a number of older rotary-racers (RX2s and RX3s) to the event to emphasize Mazda's proud racing history.

Should be a spectacular show, as always!
