Are there any FD guys on this forum that are located in Wilmington or around Wilmington?

I lived in Wilmington up until about 6 months ago... I didnt really know of any Rx7 guys down there. Including myself there were three 3rd gens but have all moved or sold the cars. There is really just a bunch of rice around wilm. When the weather is warm on wednesday nights everyone meets in that AutoFX parking lot off of market if you want to check that out.

Welcome to the forum. The Raleigh Rotary Drive-In is working with some of the eastern NC rotary owners to have a Drive-In down east some where in May to meet each other and have an excuse to take our cars on a Sunday drive. We're talking about a place called Rotary Park in Morehead City but haven't decided on a date or location yet. Just wanted to make you aware of it and if you need to give your FD some excercise you're more than welcome to bring it up to Raleigh for a Saturday Drive-In, every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month.

what was up with the cops goin up there and taking everybodys pics last week? imo not worth the hassle of going up there. People need to find a new spot to meet.

there is a new spot that some go to, we don't want ricers to know though, i rarely go out there now. i didn't know they took pics last week though

Yeah, I know what you mean, the FD owners are always hanging around garages, auto parts stores, cars on jacks, and the ATM machines. I never have figured that out, I like to go driving. But whatever tunes your boost!

You can come hangout with the RRDI FC quys whenever you want.

I live about a mile from that parking lot where they all meet on Wed. but figured it was probably just rice and I've never been over there. I thought about stopping in one night but forza motor sports had my attention and I never got around to it. Are the guys that hang out there cool or is it "rice only allowed"?

Y'all are also welcome to come up to Raleigh sometime, too! We have meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday. It'd be nice to see more FDs up here!

Feel free to drive up for the weekend sometime! There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area if you want to stay overnight.
