I got a silver rx-7! Coming up in Dec. to finally get that damn bumper taken care of!!!! and work for a couple of weeks woohoo....

 

I've got the montego blue fd that drives around campus alot. I saw another blue FD on my way to carolina beach a couple of days ago. I woulda chased him down, but a cop was behind me.



btw... where can i take my car to get the vacuum hoses replaced? i tried rotor sports racing, but theres 22 cars at the shop and no wait list

Also... guess what I did... I got another RX8 this weekend. Its a VR but Im going to have it painted pink, Im going to try to go for the same color as my calipers on my black one. Im going to turn it into a drift car hence the crazy paint job she will be recieving.

 

dont worry about it..the funny thing is, I recently met another guy with another RX7 and his wife called her Pam too so I dont know, maybe its the way she introduces herself..kinda funny.

I love how people just pop up on this thread with random remarks then disappear. Am I the only one who would like to see some kind of organization or frequent gathering of the local rotary guys in wilmington and surrounding areas w/o having to go to the ricer **** at k-mart?

As far as an rx7 meet, my 10ae is in my garage with no motor in it, and I'm not too keen on bringing out my beater 4dr wagon civic to a car meet.

I have always been an avid believer that a car meeting has nothing to do with the cars, it has to do with the guys who are car enthusiasts(granted bringing/owning a car helps but I wouldnt look down on someone if their car was down and they wanted to hang out). If it was always about the cars then Id just go park in every parking lot i saw a rx7 and just sit there. Just b/c your car isnt running doesnt mean you cant hang out with some rotary guys. We're RX7 people, we know that the car is gonna go south at sometime. Trading info, mechanical help, jokes, good times and sometimes food...all reasons for meets(with the occasional drive and road trips). Who is interested?

 

I agree with the whole Kmart ricer thing but I thought that was where you guys met whenever you got together in town.. Ive never been out there. By we I meant me Jason and Marty......

 

the parking lot outside kmart is super weak. we should meet in a parking lot outside of a bar... but anyway, i think marty is getting his new fd on friday and i got my boost gauge and subs installed in my car finally. we should have a meet sometime next week or we can meet outside of kmart again... either way, we'll look super cool.... 3+ FDs and atleast one FC so far...
