I just got a nice 83 gsl, Want to take it to get some engine work, Carb work, and just get a complete overhaul... I am willing to spend a good 1 - 2k on this work.. Anyone know of a good lead? I want this car running great when I get it back.. Seems to only have 4 speeds.. Plus it's an automatic, and I would like to have a stick shift in this car.. Is it possible to do this? I know nothing about how to work on the engines, so I need to have someone else do the work.
