Its been forever since i read anything about any charlotte area guys getting together. The last one i went to was like in march 06. so did everyone drop off the planet or what. We had a good turn out last time i went but not heard of any meets since then. Whats up???

anywho, i'm putting my new engine in my TII and should be up and running shortly so i'm down for gettin with some other 7's!!!!

i always try to get some of our customers to come out but not many live near here. there's chris mcabee in gastonia that will come out with his FD i put a single kit on let's have some FUN!

 

I'm in Huntersville and always look forward to Rx-7 meets. There is another FD nearby that I am sure I can get to come also.

I will certainly be taking the 7 out today - looks like it is going to be a great day!

Well, that's more like it. Actually showing some interest. Rob and myself are possble looking at doing an every other weekend thing. I think it would probably be a best shot to look at maybe the first Saturday of the month to get things rolling. Our last little get together was a good turn out, but we need to get a gameplan, and everyone stick to it.

 

I am willing to meet basically anywhere, but I need to get a new fuel pump/fpr/fpg. give me a week or two

What exactly do you need? I have a good stock pump. A nice 130 mph dash cluster, and access to a '80 SA parts car, and a '81 FB. Give me a pm of what you are looking for, and maybe I can help.

hah, a pump/fpr/fpg good enough for an OER 45mm carb, would be fantastic, but I should be getting something for the car this friday.

 

hell, you don't need anything crazy for that setup. an oer only need 3 - 5psi max. a carter pump would do just fine or go to any local auto parts store and pick up a holley pump w/ a cheap holley regulator. any fpg will do as long as it reads down to 3psi.

only thing to watch out for is this is going to be run Dead head i assume.. so keeping pressure down may be a slight challenge. you could get a fpr with a return line and then you would be set for sure

Well there is 8 people thats a good start. So when would everyone want to meet up, like on a Sat. afternoon or Sunday afternoon.

If we meet up here in statesville we would not have many chances of getting ran off from some where, plus if you want to do it here we could meet at my house, its just 5 miles from I77 and I40 cloverleaf. We could meet and hit some nice roads. just keep that in mind.

Like Rob said^^^^^^^^^^^Plus there are so many back roads around here, it will give you a good chance to see what your car can do. Don't worry. I wouldn't want anybody to do anything unsafe, or illegel, but I also have a truck and trailer if someone should break down. LOL!!!!
