I share a shop with a 75 y.o. guy with a handicap badge, He has an artificial knee, can't walk very far but still races his RX in SCCA.

Nothing worse than being beaten by a guy with a walker... (OK so he doesn't use a walker but we give him **** about it, that and the fact he once raced against Fred Flintstone)

My neighbor has a C6 automatic. He is missing his left leg and has a handicap tag. What's wrong w/ that? If you are refering to the handicap of horsepower that thing has I'll agree! AHAH! G

So, any person who is handicapped shouldn't be allowed to be successful, live a decent life or drive a nice car? Sounds good to me. KILL THE BASTARDS!

While we're at it, let's make it a law that it would be illegal for any soldier returning from defending their coutry, and has had a leg blown off or took a chunk of lead through his lung, only be allowed to drive a Nissan Sentra. What gives these jerks the right to live the American dream anyways? Just because they fought for their country. How dare they think they're entitled to anything nice! Lazy *** Floridians.

I can't stand it when I see handicapped people, weaving through traffic, putting on make-up and talking on the cellphone. They placing other peoples LIVES IN DANGER!!

no....wait......that's young, ignorant female drivers. Nevermind.

Wash the sand out of your **** dude. Sports cars are a heck of a lot harder to get in/out of than Crown Vics. I think that was the point.

That or the fact that sports car owners will go to great lengths to secure WIDE *** parking spots and avoid door dings. I'd pay my Doc a few bill to get a bogus tag so I could park in S. FL. !

And MY point was the post was implying that handicapped + sportcar = lazy.

Every disabled vet returning from the Iraq war will have one of those wheel chair license plates. Who the **** are you or anyone else to tell them they can only drive a Crown Vic? Not all handicapped license plates belong to the elderly. It doesn't surprise me you would PAY to get one. If you want one so bad, why don't head to Iraq and EARN one.

As far as sand in my ****, obviously you were a failure in anatomy as well.

poor wording on my part. i most definitely wasn't implying that the handicapped are lazy, lol! i assumed that the plate was bogus so that the driver could get the nice up-front parking spots, hence my calling them lazy. actually, it never even occured to me that the driver might really be handicapped. i spent six months in a chair and there is no way, even folded, that i could have fit it in an elise. or any lotus for that matter, lol.
i post pics in hopes to bring a smile or maybe even a chuckle to somebody's stressful work day. i certainly never meant to offend anyone. unfortunately, i stole that pic so it's not in my photobucket for me to delete.

No worries mazdagirl. At times it's not easy to understand a poster's implied message by looking at a picture. I tried to look at it from every angle, but still misread your TRUE meaning.

I can assure, nothing is more irritating than seeing a 400 pound "handicapped" person roll around in an electric cart, parking way up front and filling up their basket with creamed-filled-this or chocolate-filled-that. That isn't a medical condition, nor is it a handicap.....it's more of what you're referring to.

I retired from the military, and this whole Walter Reed Military hospital wounded veterans neglect has me flying off the handle. Those guys deserve better than crap like that and unfortunately, many of them will have no choice than to have handicapped tags like that. I applogize for misreading your intent.

We're cool on this....
