Unlucky day for me

I just got off work, and decided to take the long way home, just to cruise. So I hang a right off of International drive onto oakridge right in front of festival bay mall. The car in front of the car in front of me slams on the brakes the car infront of me swerves and everything is fine, the 2nd car up turns and I keep goin, then the car infront of me swerves back into my lane fo NO reason and nails my fender. Looks crappy, her car has 3 stratches. Shes at fault for improper lane changes. Anyone know some good body shops around orlando area?

Thank, luckily no one was hurt except for my FC! =p

She had a flippin neon and her rear bumper looks fine, few scratches, but I want to goto a good body shop so I can get an estimate, so the guy can just pay for it out of his pocket, if he becomes a douche I got the police report to file a claim with his insurance, but they seemed really nice, we actually started telling stories about previious accidents we've been in lol.

Be careful with the insurance claim. A friend of mine was rear ended in his FC. He went and filed a claim and the insurance company slapped a certificate of destruction on it. Taillight, bumber and some body panel damage was all that happened. Just my .03 cents.

i would file the claim with there insurance, because then you dont have to worry about getting the money or anything like that, since they dont want you to, they might not have insurance. which would be bad, but i would do that soon. because if they dont do anything with paying you, the insurance company will do the same

out of court

Settling out of insurance is typically better for everybody on crashes where damage is no more than a few thousand.

This lady is nice, understanding, and responsible. The police write-up means you can file a claim anytime if she were to ditch. Why give a person a black-eye? They just damaged your car, acccidents do happen.

Without insurance you don't have to worry about deductables, lowest estimate ever, or increased fees for either driver.

Tht road is always filled w/ crash dummies!!! I work at a body shop and i think the bast way to make the most out of your situation is to got hrough with filing the claim and then when the adjuster goes to write an estimate tell them that you do not want to get rid of the car true that old cars are totalled for nothin just b/c of their blue book value which is next to nothing.. take the adjusters check and go to a junkyard and pull a fender then call me I will fix the bumper and paint fender for you for way less than a body shop would charge . remember they have overhead charges that the least is around 30 an hour. but if you buy the paint(I know of a place where we buy our supplies from) I will do it for by far cheaper than you could find anywhere. Plus you'd rather have a 7 owner work on your car n e ways.lol-Erik
