Another weekend with a substantial amount of progress!! woot! We were aiming to have it started by now, but unfortunately, that was just not possible The good news is, we got the stainless steel oil cooler lines installed, mounted the oil cooler, mounted the radiator, finished the intercooler piping, and the BOV is mounted and installed!! Thanks to Masin's buddy for the weld! Sorry I never met him, and I don't know his name, but I like to give credit where credit is due . . .
We also managed to mount the other rear fender! Woot!
I also have some parts for sale that I scalped off of the Parts car I bought a couple of weeks ago. Go here to see if there is anything you need!
Thanks again to everyone for coming over and helping!

Adam,
Looking good! I haven't heard form Zac in a while, nor have I really tried to talk to him though either. If you check out his myspace page, there are pictures of his car with the 302 in it, but it hasn't been turbo'd yet. (At least not in the pics.) Might want to talk to his friend on here, I think his name here is 84GSnc or something to that effect.
Keep up the kick *** work. I'll give you a call when im in the area, and keep checking in on here to stay updated on your progress. My only toy now is my new car, a Cobalt SS supercharged. (Needed a new daily, got a really really good deal on it, and have factory warranty).
Later,
Chris~

No, you aren't too far from me at all! I'll send you a pm with some more details, but we work on the car on Saturdays and Sundays. I appreciate the offer to help!

Wow! We had a crazy rainstorm this weekend, but it didn't keep us from getting stuff done!
Got the wing mounted and started bondo work on the back!
Minda got happy with a sharpie. Here is his self-portrait.
Got the Fuel Pressure Regulator installed and all the different vacuum hoses done.
Got the E-fan installed!
How do you like my boost guage placement?

overall the project looks awesome~
some quick things i can see being problems down the line:
~fuel regulator mounting point (maybe put it on the firewall to the left [passenger side] of the engine lid latch) and fuel lines. the length of hose from regulator output to carb should be as short as possible.
~coil mounting using zip ties is good for temporary, but please put a good brace in there too.
~for the msd box, if the location isn't set in stone, you should probably move it into the passenger compartment where it is sheltered a bit from the heat/cold cycles of the engine and outside elements. ohand put it on the rubber vibration isolator mounts if you haven't already.
just my $00.02 worth.

Thanks! I appreciate the input. Everybody else feel free to offer constructive criticism.
Hmmm didn't think about that. I'll get on it.
There was no thought of making that permanent when I did that. I was just trying to get it out of the way AND keep it from rolling around everytime I touched a wire connected to it. It will be securely attatched before the car rolls out.
I already know the MSD box won't stay there for long. I've already encountered one other problem - the brake line that runs there.
all $00.02 are welcome! Lord knows I need all the help I can get.
