I want to make more power. And that **** can get expensive just as quick!! Landers rebuild with a massive port- $1500ish, the manifold and some dual webers- over $1000, true dual exhaust- $900ish, radiator, pulleys, tuning (not fun with webers) $$$$$.

I did kick around the idea for a while, but I decided that if I was gonna run carbs, I would have kept my FB.

Besides, the parts on that car got stolen even with a bad *** alarm, I don't want that **** happening to me too. Damn thieves.

hey do you have the T2 motor and tranny yet? cause if you search for osaka engines... they have a s5 engine and tranny for 650 plus 300 shipping, not bad for a motor with supposedly 40k on the engine... comes with everything, even the wiring harness... they are in canada though.

Yeah I searched Osaka, way too much negative info on them, check around. I have a source for the engine, and it will be rebuilt and ported, with no emissions. The Osaka engines don't come with harnesses (they're cut) or if they do they are right hand drive which don't reach long enough on a US spec car. And the deal I am getting will have the harness, ECU, and all necessary sensors and such to complete the swap. Don't need the tranny.
