Talking There's a opossum in my SA22C!

Haha, So I was outside playing with Rocky (He's my dog, the family Rottweiler) and I ended up wandering over to my SA22 up on top of the hill. I've had it for over a year now. I got it for free, but it doesn't currently run, and it's a WOP (WithOut Papers, in case you've never heard that). I'd like to take it into the basement and completely strip it down to the unibody to see if it's worth restoring, but that's a tale for later. Anyway, I popped open the engine bay, and there's a ******' opossum living in there! XD

My SA22C

Without Camera flash

engine bay (natural light)

With flash, notice the opossum lying close to the battery tray.

Closeup of Mr. Opossum

another engine bay shot (Damn the leaves!)

That hood'll need replacement.

*** shot.

heres what i would do, get a .22 caliber rifle and put a CBEE cartrige in it. and shoot his ***. a cbee .22 is a low velocity short range .22 and at close range will kill it but wont exit the opposum and hurt the car. dont mess with it by hand those things carry many diesses and can be very mean. seriously ive seen beagles tree a oppusum and the dang thing attack a dog no joke. thats just what i would do . good luck hey if you shot it get it mounted. my fiancee is a taxidemist LOL. goodluck with the infestation. robert

umm how bout we not shoot anything into the first gens bay. plz. first id get a nice shovel and have someone with a shotgun. Next step is to 'gently' fling the opposum out of teh engine bay using said shovel and have buddy with shotgun shoot the lil bugger if it decides it wants to go back home or attack you. a .22 will not kill ona dem sumbitches in one go....took 12 rounds from close range, 3 directly to its skull, to dispatch a possum that had decided to make a midday garbage run.

Try sticking your finger in its ***, thatll get it running in no time. J/k, i would just scare it away man, but a gun will do the trick.
