best place i can think of would be rotary performance to get all that done and your looking at around 4-4.5k for all that i think maybe a slightly little bit more. the streetport and rebuild with 3mm seals will cost 3400 according to their site and the rest shouldnt be that bad. maybe another 1500-2k if that.

I agree. Very good shop. If you have the money and are close to them, you will get exactly the power you want, and reliability.

Im going through the same thing right now, debating what to do as in a new engine to get the best performance and reliability for the price. Right now im thinking of just getting a reman from mazda and having it ported and 3mm apexes at KDR for a total of around $3500 and it should be a fairly reliable engine.

The debate with me is more over to use my current engine for a rebuild or to just get the reman. I havent taken my engine out yet so I dont know if it needs a rotor or housing which im guessing it needs one or the other.

Jer, go with my guy in Gadsden, AL.. he's awesome and he's very reasonable (over 25 years of experience). And you could see your engine cranked on a stand. He also has a custom built lapper. I'm happy with it and in next month or so hopefully you could see it running!

From what I understand, he is gooood. He builds motors for his competition. They actually trust him to build a motor that they sometimes beat him with.
