Anderson Park 1 P.M. Saturday May 17th, 2008 (Shelter # 4)


*Sorry it took a while to get this posted, but life has kept me busy...

A big thanks to everyone that attended the March 22nd event, even though it was raining cats and dog we still had over 40 cars and 50 people in attendance. This is a continuation of our bi-monthly Mazda BBQ's, I hope to see everyone back out and then some.

The shelter I reserved has limited parking spaces for about 40 cars, but I also got permission to use a big empty field right next to the shelter that will fit another 75 cars. The shelter also is close to a bathroom.

Event is open to all Mazdas (although we wont turn you away if you don’t have one, just bring something).


BBQ is potluck style, meaning everyone brings something.

Damn, that's just down the road from my house- but I will be in Clearwater working all day- double damn! I would love to run the 'vert out there- maybe I can take an "extended lunch" ...

 

there's a good chance I'll be running the FD out there

 

i live in fort myers it is not to far from me but i dont have the rx running and i dont think you guys want to look at my dsm all day

***EVENT HAS BEEN RE-LOCATED TO THE FORT DE SOTO LOCATION. I APOLOGIZE IF THIS CAUSES ANY INCONVENIENCE TO ANYONE BUY THE ANDERSON PARK LOCATION WAS OUR BACK UP LOCATION AND WAS IN ONE OF THE POORLY LOCATED SHELTERS. IT HAS BECOME EXCEEDINGLY DIFFICULT TO SECURE A SHELTER AT FORT DE SOTO AND WE HAD TO WAIT ON A WAITING LIST TO RECEIVE THE SHELTER THAT WE HAVE NOW. ON THE OTHER HAND THIS SHELTER IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH ACCESS, A PLAYGROUND (BRING YOUR KIDS), AND HAS SPACE FOR OVER 200 CARS IN FRONT OF IT.***
