One of the only reasons I got back into an RX-7 was because of proximity to Pettit.

I've done a couple motors through him so far. I will only take my cars to him. While my other FD buddies are pissing around trying to find a cheaper way out of the typical FD repairs, I'm enjoying driving my perfectly solid FD. It's worth a little more $ to know it's right and having the right guy do the work.

MATT GOLD. Back in a FD apparently. Good for you, Bro. We'll have to meet up at an event or something and catch up. It's been a long time.
That is exactly the point...

A lot of people want the cheaper way and end up paying more in the long run.

You go to him and tell him your problem and he will find other things that can be a problem in the short or long run and suggest you address it... You decide if you want to do it or not. In the end no one is forcing you to buy the stuff or fix it.. YOU took the car to him and he is telling you what's wrong along with stuff that can increase the longevity and reliability of your car... If there is someone out there with tons of experience with the rotary engine is Cam, and that is something no one can take away from the man...
Yes he is a businessman but he is also a racer and enthusiast.

hey my car is all the way in the back stashed away lol

And as for Charlie, all i can say is stay away from him. I could have whiped my *** with $7,000 and gotten the same result as from him.

IDK if I wrote about it, but I rode in his sons nearly stock turbo 2 and that thing was sneaky fast. He definaltely knows how to get the most out of every inch of anything under the hood.
