A few of the Supras were very fast in the straights, but one, I noticed, must be owned by a heavy equipment operator, because he moved a lot of dirt with his car.
My friend Scott (white LS1 FC) learned a valuable lesson about brake fluid. After smelling brakes, I had him "test" the pedal on the front straight. This kept him from going "***** out". Thank goodness, because when he hit the pedal, NOTHING! Out for the day. Everything cooled down and we made it home ok. I think he's bleeding the system tonight though!

Well, the GSL-SE made it home alive, but the oil leak made the car smoke the whole way home and whenever I shut the motor off, the oil on the turbo would ignite, causes for some intense moments. Besides that, great event and glad I got to see you all.

i think and am pretty sure its a leaking injector after the car is cut off flooding the combustion chamber.
on the fuel pressure gauge it drops right after its turned off and drops 5 psi every 1 minute (aprox).does that sound normal?
but if i come right out and crank it within 1 hour of it sitting there it will crank no prob, so its just when it gets cold.
just dont want to pull it apart, thats why i payed the rx7store to do the fuel system so i would have some reassurance.
and i have done a compression test looked great 120 on all 3 front and back.
so...

I put my money on the INJ map and INJ setup all in ECU. I had similar issues and my Fuel presure drops the same as you have mentioned although not quite as fast. Not sure what primaries you are using but I run 1000's and if it is off when you go to fire and it does not fire quick then it is flooded fast! What ecu? what inj's?

Has the car always done this? Do you have a wideband? What are your afr's at idle? Is this a new setup or have you been running this for awhile?
I had similar issues when I first went with large primary's. I can pull my fuel out 100% at idle cells and still run rich. If I still go to crank it and it does not fire right up it will flood (though I have not had this issue now that it is tuned). I think the reason I have not run into this anymore is just keeping the plugs fresh. I am not sure how you can set up the Inj. lag on the haltech but that may be the answer. I just have not went back and played with the lag on mine as it will change the complete fuel map and require a retune..

i had the fuel system installed after i repalce the motor, had it tune to 4000rpm and no boost.
and has been like this ever sense.
it only just got past brake-in (2000miles) and maybe started doing it at 1600 miles?
i have sense replace the spark plug aprox.... 8 times!
and it just to get it to crank.
i can push it off and it will start every time.
runs like **** till it gets warm, have to hold the gas pedal to keep it from idling to low,
unless it has new spark plugs.
no i dont have a wideband installed yet.
on the haltech the a/f says 455mh, but on the gauge it just goes red for lean and green for rich and its all the way green as it can get.
