OK I put a feeler for this out a while ago. Got a lot of PM's requesting more info so I guess this is the official tentative date/thread lol.

Anyway I want to put together bi monthly sunday morning drives where us RX-7 owners can go through some nice straightaways, curvies/twisties, and backroads and just go out and not have to worry about anything.

I'm figuring drives will last anywhere between 1:30-2:00 hours long, and we could all meet up for breakfast at 8:00AM first (waffle house maybe)?

Anyway if your interested post up .. I think we will meet at Waterford Lakes and go from there

i really really dont mean 2 sound or come across as a complete ******* but from what i've seen latley with these rx meets it imvho seems to go no where, thousands of ppl say they're gonna go but what ends up happening is only 5ppl 10ppl max, i for one am unpleased with these kind of results and brings me down because it tells me that no one on the forums (at least not many ppl) stay to thier word as far as meeting up, im not sayin i have the perfect idea to solve this problem, im just venting/stating facts of what i've seen, not for nothin u know i have much much luv for the rotor and those ppl that have the same passion on this forum so im not knockin on anyone just making a statment that's it an that's all....and im very sorry for hyjacking this thread i just had to get that message across, and just 2 let u know im not goin also, sorry, have a good time for those that do go tho, i hope you guy's have a great time meeting ppl for the 1st time or hangin out again

 

um ok ... we had a good enough turn out last time .. and what does it matter if they don't come out? that's there loss...

if only 5 people show up so be it .. that doesn't change that we are still having this on sunday.


btw the drive .. im still deciding on the roads .. but it will involve some backroads near lake pickett amongst some other fun ones

 

hey guys common its all love, he's right its dissapointing but dont be a "sourpuss" lol who ever doesnt show up doesnt show, at least u love this forum enough to give us a heads up on being more enthusiastic and commiting to our word and if we dont...**** us, who ever does show up shows up and has fun.....this sunday at 8?

 

I feel everyone’s pain but if we can get the five that show up over there and another six that show up over here it will all add up in the end. The Poinciana meet went very well and there was talk about bringing it towards the Hunters creek area for a meet or two. So if we keep working on this soon we will all hook up when no one has other plans. I my self have missed out on some good meets because something comes up. But I agree with thafox it does get a little frustrating sometimes because I want to see bigger meet too but I think we should all keep trying our best to bring it all together and at the end of the day it will be all good. if you show fine, if not stfu, who cares. Even if you say, definitely post if going, people don't show. If you go you might be surprised and see 25cars, you might see 1, it is a crapshoot, a riddle an enignma wrapped in a mystery......
