So recently iv been hearing a strange clukting knocking types of sound as i speed up it speeds up. When i gently tap the break it stops. I took the car to a local shop an had them check my brake everything was road safe. He did say that that in side the brake harness the thin metal clamp that i think hold the pads together broke in the middle. Having said that its just hard to belive that it can make that much noise. i would go to auto parts store and get a new small parts kit for both sides anyway,it will have all the hardware that needs replacing,clean and properly lube everything for sure,i hsd the same symptoms on my f150 when the pads got extremely worn

 

check the brake master cylinder and the slave master cylinder...

 

Could it be a wheel bearing?

 

i dont think they sell mazda small brake parts there
