Just an update - Doesn't look good on the Custom IT or IC setup yet... IT is taking a bit more time to develop then planed.

Giany you need to go and buy a Intake and an Intercooler and stop doing all the custom bullshit that is time consuming you cant get it tuned again with nothing more than just more fuel you will run out of air throu that stock air bix the the stock intercooler will blow ta **** up under 14 psi so here you have it and get rid of your air pump get some underdrive pulies and you will be good to go with that.

the dyno is gonna be at Top Dead Center in spartanburg (i know you know him charles) he said he would do a flat rate of $75 per car no matter if you are tuning or just want 3 pulls. he also said if we want we can have some food brought in if their will be enough people.

and besides spark plugs fouling, what else can you guys think of that commonly breaks on a rotary on the dyno? he told me to get part numbers for common things that break and he will stock them. real stand up guy. the dyno is a brand new dynojet. and i mean BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!

 

LOL, well I would buy an IC, but haven't had any luck finding a used one be it SM or FM. Having to buy a new clutch / flywheel has put a major drain on the funds that I had set aside for this project. So no going out and buying a new IC for me. As far as the Custom intake, well I have it all speced out, this weekend I plan to start fabing some of the parts to see how it works out.

I do want to get ride of the the air pump but that'll just have to wait. It's functioning well enough as a dead pulley so it'll have to stick around for a bit.

So it comes down to this, if by then all I have is the new injectors, then so be it... Car can be tuned for drive-ability, etc. Especially since my injectors are currently running at 100%... So just that alone and having it properly tuned would be worth the the tune.

i was over at the dyno this weekend, and he said he is gonna have a few barrels of C16 on hand if anybody wants to use it. also, if you guys are gonna need race plugs, he is gonna stock NGK 10,10.5, and 11s heat ranges for us.

 

How much for the plugs?
