Steve Kan tuning in Spartanburg South Carolina on 6/9-6/10

i thought i would go ahead and start a thread so we can get a date together for him to come. we need a minumun five cars, but the more the merrier! i was thinking of doing it sometime in mid june, that way people have time to get their cars together. it will be on a dyno and i havent gotten the price for the dyno, but im trying to work it so we can get a group deal, since i know the guy. info on tuning prices can be found at www.gothamracing.com a $200 non refundable deposit is needed to secure your spot. we wont start taking deposits until we have a date aggreed on and locked with steve. then it will be first come first serve on the deposits.

just post up if you are interested and we will get the ball rolling on this thing.

thanks
masin

On his Steve's site it is listed as May 13th for Atlanta tuning session. Is that info old or is there really a session May 13th?

i dont see why not, but that will have to wait until after all the cars are done, because you can get your numbers anytime.

haven't taken the time to pull the tranny for that. it doesn't start slipping unless i've done quite a few speed shifts. i'm sure it will be fine for a couple pulls, but i will plan to address this issue well before then. and dregg100, of course i would wait til the others were done.

ncfc3s, i know someone that has an S5 counterweight, ill see if he wants to sell it and if he does then ill have him post up here.

well i guess we will go with the 16/17. the only reason for doing this is the fact that the date could get taken, then we have to wait until july. so lets go ahead and start a list of who is going and your mods. i will also start taking deposits (thats how we get the date locked in, we have to have 5 deposits, then its ours) if you are ready to send your deposit send it to streetrx7@yahoo.com the deposit will be $206. please PM me when you send it so i know its there, and can put you down as paid. also, keep in mind that this is non-refundable. also, the dyno where it is going to take place has requested that i get together peoples money for them so we can lock in that weekend for our use only. that will be $103 flat rate per car, no matter how long your car takes (yeah i know sweet deal!!)

one other thing to keep in mind, whoever places their deposits first gets dibs on date/time selection.

I would rather the date be early June, but I definately want in on this. I have a friend that is opening a speed shop in May and getting a dyno. It is the Jet-Dyn he said. I could check to see what price will be if interested.

Mods: Ceramic coated DP, RB catback, Fluidyne Rad, FC and commander, 1900 secondaries, CAI, Stage 1 rebuild, upgraded fuel pump, Greddy SMIC. Dynoed few months ago and estimation was 350 at wheel.

I do not do PayPal, Where should I send the check or MO.

PM chagar@bellsouth.net.

Thanks,
Charles Garrett
