Well all I know is that the dyno I was on was not a Jet-Dyn and they added a percentage to it (12%). Everything I heard was that was normal. I will contact my friend tomorrow and let you know. From the response it looks like a moot point.

I'm not good with June 16/17 since i already have Portland who has 11 people commited already.

The only group that I haven't heard back from were the South Florida group who was suppose to have June 9/10 weekend. I will contact the organizer and see if he has any new update or if I could push their date back.

I spoke with my friend today and his dyno should be in and set up in the next week. He said $90 per car. It is on the westside of Spartanburg. I told him that it may not take place, just asking. He said if it was just to use equipment and they had to do nothing that would be the price.

it is still gonna happen, but the only way to get a date locked is to send in 5 deposits to me. then i will send the whole thing to steve. then our date is locked in as i explained above. streetrx7@yahoo.com is my paypal and the deposit is $206. i guess now we have to wait to see if that date is still available, if its not then we will plan for july.

Versuch Racing in Anderson would do it for $75. I may be able to talk them down on that, but that's up to you guys if you'd want to do it there or not. I'm not really familiar with what they have as far as which dyno manufacturer and add-ons, but I can find that out as well.

 

ok, you guys dont seem to understand. the only way to get a date locked is for 5 deposits to be sent to steve. i have recieved one (thanks derek!) and then once i have them all we can lock in a date. so maybe we need to get the 5 deposits then decide on a date.

as far as changing the dyno, i would like it to be close to me since im organizing this (not tyring to sound arrogant) . i will go talk to the guys at the dyno by me and see if they will come down any on price. xx merlin and chagar, find out what kind of dyno's they are please.

Hey this is gettin kinda outta control. I have been waiting for the Florida guys to get their stuff together for 4 months now and they were doing what we are starting to do... "Trying to accomodate everyone." This is not good. We are already getting a great deal on the dyno price and Steve said he will ONLY tune on a specific Dyno so... Masin, Please just set it up and $90 PER CAR is a killer deal to start with. It is difficult enough to get Steve to come out with his busy schedule. Trying to save $10-$15 on tuning is just going to cost time which is worth more than money. Please lets just get a date and go get the Horsepower our cars deserve!!!!!!!!!!!!

im going over to try to talk the dyno guys down some more and will let you guys know more about that in a little while.

 

ok, the dyno said they can do a flat rate of $300 per day, and we can be there as long as we need. so the more people we get the better the price is for each of us. i know there are more people that are interested in this whole deal than 7.
