Steve Kan Tuning in September(?) at Pettit Racing in WPB

I desperately need my car tuned, can we get a list going please? We need five and these are the details:
New 2007 tuning price structure
In order to make it fair for everyone in the tuning session, below is the new tuning price structure.

$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Dyno time at Pettit is $65 an hour

Please lets keep this thread simple and to the point, add your name to the list if you are ready to send in your deposit. Once we get five I will PM Steve to arrange a specific date. September seems a bit early I know, but its not set in stone so as soon as we get five committed then we can proceed even if its at a later date. Also list the tune you'll be getting beside your name.

What doesn't he tune would be a better question. As far as I know he tunes Haltach, Wolf, Microtec, Motec, pretty much everything out there.

Honestly, what I learned from having him tune my car was priceless, just from watching and asking a ton of questions. But, we accomplished more on the street for 30 minutes than we did spending 60 on the dyno.

Steve is Pluto on here and owns Gotham Racing do some searching and you'll see.

There are some others that have copied Steve and will travel to tune as well but I like the original. I would not trust anyone else and if I have to pay $400 then I will just for the piece of mind.

The map I have now is from his tuning and its a solid map, I am using it right now even though I have changed a lot on my car and it is still a solid map. BTW- I am running a Motec and he showed me so much about what it does and its not even a system he uses often.

I've been to three tuning sessions of his. Once just as a meet and greet, another to have my own car tuned and another after adding a few things. Great guy, geniune in his approach and technically one of the best at what he does. With Steve you get what you pay for and then some. You don't get some tuner who boasts how good he is and how bad everyone else is, you get results.

I do agree he is too expensive but he is still cheaper than a rebuild. As everyone knows, a well tuned rotary will last a while where as a bad tune can blow one quick.

ok so we have three commited? I am waiting for Andre to PM me or add to this list, he is supposed to have 5 ready, but if that falls through the who knows, as long as we get five here we can get this thing rolling. When he goes to Pettit, I think Cam or Kandy usually picks him up, but if you want to pick him up at the airport and tune on the way back to Pettit then PM him and see if he'll do that, and ifhe says yes then I will race you to the airport because I wish I had though of that! lol!
if you are in for sure add your name!

I just wanted to let all of you know that Steve needs at least one month before the tune date to buy his tickets and make his arrangements. So if you're going to commit to the tune then put your name on the list. Steve won't come down here unless he has five people committed.

93RedDragonFD it will be on a weekend so if you are ready to send a deposit in please add you name to the list. redline9, if you REALLY want us to count you in, then you have to verbalize(by typing) that you are able to send a deposit in and add you name to the list.
JerryD680, if you have a PFC, then is takes roughly 5 minutes to install, so I don't know what you mean when you say "if " it's installed you'll be ready, because if you want, just put your name on the list(if you are able to send a deposit) and I will install the PFC at Pettit when you get there.

Andre is waiting to see if his 5 people are ready to send in deposits, if they are then we can get rolling, if not hopefully a combination of his friends and people on this list will add up to 5 people, so PLEASE lets add some names to the list so I can let Steve know that the end of Sept or beg of Oct is a possibility, I am in for sure so really we only need FOUR people!
thanks!

Let me be a little clearer.... I want my car tuned 14 psi, stock twins, non-seq... and then 10psi for daily driving... can anyone estimate how much $$ that would be and will he do that?

efranklin he will and can tune to the highest psi you want, and when you want to run lower boost, then turn your boost controller lower. Prices are at the top, it will prob be $350 but make sure you have the mods to support 14psi with the stock twins.
