We now got atlease 5 cars registered at Steve Kan website for tuning here in Florida. if anyone want your car to be tune with Steve please add your self on the list as soon as possible. We are now in contact with Steve and he told us that he can come over on September but we still looking for a final date that works with everyone.

I wanted to be tune in South Florida at Pettie Racing or Miami/FT. Lauderdale area(here we have bunch of very good Dyno) but we did not agree to any location yet, so you can post the location that you want to be tune and we all come out with a fair location and date that works with all of us and Steve.

can you post your preferred date and location on the Steve site? we are getting close to agree on the location at Pettie Racing. About the date I wanted September 6-7, RotaryBudda wanted September 20-21.

Please let us know what do you want as soon as possible so we can come up with the final date and location, Then we can start send the deposit to Steve to get the ball rolling.

god dammit, i would love to do this, got a new rebuild and brn turbos. need an ic, ignition, and 1300cc inj before i get a tune.. and i thought since pettit moved they didnt have the dyno anymore?

 

Cam at pettit says he has a deal with either the people he is next door to now, or a place near where his old shop was, so he said to nail down a date and he'll talk to both shops and get the best deal for us. He also said 5 is good but he hopes 5 more show up to be tuned to get a better deal. So basically Pettit is OK for the dyno because either dyno is about a mile and a half away from each other and Cam will most likely be there. We just need to nail down a date and encourage others who need a tune to show up(which from my experience they usually do).

I don't know Cam and i don't have his number. So can you please ask Cam if we want to secure a Dyno session on September 6. how much would it run per hour?

I mean if the place is open and avilable for us to do our run on September 6. I can send them some deposit (it they need) and send $200 to Steve right away to get the ball rolling.

they won't need a deposit or anything for the dyno. Cam is the owner of Pettit Racing btw, so if you ever need info you can call the Pettit number because sometimes I am away from the computer for a while. Anyway though, he said he was going to call the two shops and find the better deal for us, and get back to me so as soon as I find out I can let you know. In the meantime though, if you know Cam you know he can be forgetful so if someone else wants to call Pettit at anytime for any details or questions that would be great.
Can't wait for this to FINALLY happen!

 

not trying to stire any **** just curious why you have Gaby Stern come in often to tune and you guys are not standing in line for him? Dont get me wrong, I like Steve, he tuned one of my old set ups. He is a good tuner but Gaby tunes some very sick ****! Is it price? I have no idea what either charge now?? Just curious....

I was all for it but had to go out of town that weekend, that's my only reason, I didnt realize Gaby was coming in until it was pretty much too late.

 

I spoke to Cam JR at Petit today and he was aware Steve Kan would be there in September
I'm not sure it was official, but when i inquired he knew what I was referring to.

yes. so far, I have 3 deposits but it is still tentative until we get the 5 requirement.

How much for the Dyno ?? Flat rate or Hourly?? I will drive down from SC and stay with Fam in Stuart.

 

I will be signing up for this IF I can get my turbos here in time for this because damn they are coming but won't be here for a little while. If they get here quick I will be the 4th/5th person signing up on the site.

The dyno place will be next to Pettit Racing. If I have to guess, dyno fee should be anywhere from $65-85/hr.
