I was leaving publix after going to the Hooters meet and spotted a black FD leaving the parking lot of the meet. Are you local?

 

I just signed up on this site yesterday...don't know how long your question has been out there, but it was likely me that you saw leaving Publix...I don't think I've seen another black on black FD around Sarasota in a long, long time. I (with Mike Lowe, of course) been tinkering with it for over a decade, and I have only shown it once. I signed up here to see if there are any local events going on. At any rate...thanks for noticing!! I would love to meet up with other enthusiasts...let me know the next time something local is going on.

Actually the OP is on the site...just very rarely. Her husband owns ART in Sarasota iirc which is a great tuner and respected rotary shop. She still has the red R1.

 

Well, my wife's aunt and uncle live in Bradenton and we (I) are planning to take my BB R1 sometime. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with some of you west coasters and show you another BB FD. =)
