This Tuesday October 7th at Autozone (260 Malabar Rd SW, Palm Bay Florida). Space Coast Rotaries will be getting together from 6pm to 9pm. Discussion of future events attendance and direction of group. Lets make this work! Autozone was gracious in allowing us the back corner of parking lot. Therefor I would like to mention please No loud music, No revving, No tire burning and no alcohol. There's a West Palm Beach Cars & Coffee, that'd be a good halfway point for those coming from the south and from the north meet at.
And we also have the Mech-Tech meet that CFR puts together, they do it every couple of months with a great turn out.

Just throwing so ideas out there.

Well Space Coast Rotaries will be departing on Saturday November 1st around 9:00am ish from the Sunoco at the Malabar Rd exit 173(off I95), Anyone wanting to meetup and continue on down with us is welcomed. I want to tender the discussion for a Spring time meet that rivals the annual markham meet and is local for us.

I have the perfect venue available, my house.

Parking:
I have a courtyard that can park ~22 fds without blockage along with plenty of overflow into the undeveloped lot to the north.

Venue:
I have a 4400 sq ft enclosed pool area where we can hangout, take a dip in the pool, and grill. The pool is a shallow party pool has edge seating on the long sides and the deep end is only 6ft.

Location:
I am just off of exit 195 on i-95, no dips speed bumps or other hazards that would impede sports cars from getting to the venue. Mid-point for Jacksonville & Miami people and close for the Orlando people.

Weekend before the 28th is TX2k, and the weekend before that is a wedding im attending soooo the 28th is more or less the soonest I can put this on.

I don't mind the location, as long as it's a comfortable and inviting environment. Which I'm sure it is. I just can't find myself to be who I am in a person's house I've never been too. Aka rules and respecting the home owner. Other then that, could I bring my gf and her 10ae miata?

There will be plenty of parking. I will restrict the courtyard parking to the cooler cars first. The pool area has held a party of over 250 before, space is not an issue. After we get the details finalized we will probably cross post on Mazda boards. I'll just need a estimated head count to make sure we get enough food etc.

I am personally liking May 2nd / May 9th since they are farthest from DGRR. Trying to squeeze this in before DGRR will be rough for me because of TX2K. Also the warmer weather would make the pool more inviting. Need some input here. I know steve mentoned sooner is better, maybe we should have a small meet here with just the locals late feb to feel things out?

Has HIN/Importfaceoff/blah blah/etc released their 2015 schedules? Just don't want to conflict with a local event.

 

If I get the FC done by then, I am totally in. If not, maybe I'll drive the 6 and be completely excluded from the courtyard, lol. The May date would definitely give me a lot of time to keep procrastinating.
