I'm here and still plan on going. This is one of the events I make it out too, only missed 1 so far, as far as I can tell. You wanting your revenge this go around, Travis?

Auto-X is not done on a track. It's a bunch of guys running their cars around cones in a parking lot at 35mph..... I guess that's what you call "real racing"...

Don't get upset. I'm just messing with you. :p
ha, I got in 5 passes that day with the quickest being 12.5 at 119 on street tires at 32psi
But I still made it out there and plan on making it this time as well.

I actually forgot as well. Sunday rolled around and I was replacing the alternator belt on the 91 and locks and other interio trim on the FD and remembered it then. How did you do David?

I was just reading this and when you first look at what Tim wrote on the previous page it looks like he was running 32psi boost. haha then i figured that had to be tire presure.

Anyway, sure Tim, I'd love another shot at revenge. All I need to do now is get all the crap that I took off the Green VR-4 in to the White VR-4 so it'll run better than a 13.4 @ 102 MPH.
But hey... that's not bad for basically an air filter and a boost controller (everything else bone stock). She should run low 12s at ~116 MPH once I get her modded and tuned. I won't have the trap speed to take you, so I'm going to have to rely on RT and 60'. We're almost positive we're going to do it again in the fall. Maybe we can line 'em up then?

Hey wait a minute. I was just out at Road Atlanta this entire weekend and only saw 1 other 3rd gen, glad to meet ya Tom, 2 first gens and about 12 RX-8's..10 of which were doing the HPDE like I was. Would have been nice to have a few more FD's on the track so I could snap some shots. Luckily the RX-8 guys were great to hang around with and I had a fantastic time. I was hitting 150 on the back straight and I never hit WOT the whole time I was on the track. More like toe'd in to about 5/8's to 6/8's throttle but never on the floor.
