i vote miami.......plus the majority of the attendee's are from miami.

 

I would say SoFla as this includes everyone...

Then again what do I know, i dont drive an FD anymore

 

but da ppl dat mostly attend da meets are from miami.. the miami ppl are the 1s dat show up more often then broward.. or there are more miami ppl den other

Not that my vote matters (GA) but i think Miami RX-7 is too area specific. Just cause the miami folks have more time to represent doesn't mean they should get the name. That's sorta like discriminating against the rest of SoFla. If i'm from somewhere other than Miami, why would i want to be involved in the Miami RX7 Club if i'm not from Miami? I'm just saying, it might have an effect on participation coming from the rest of SoFla.

 

Im down with the 305... but will accept marjority vote

 

I agree we should not be so specific to an area. We should make everybody welcome, specially in South Florida. We need to get a good number of persons to join the club in order to make this a great club.

as I stated before....teh club can be read as South Florida RX7 Club......then the chapter designation....Miami, Ft.Lau. , Sunrise, Homestead, etc. which would look cool in the car decal .....this of course to be agreed on...

 

what's up i'm not from miami or south florida but i've been reading alot about your car club here in the forum. my opinion you guys have an awesome car club i wish someone would start a decent rx club here in central florida but unfornately we don't have enough participation here. keep up the good work and good luck on the club.

I think sofla rx club, and have chapters (good idea) who ever came up with it,

 

Directfreak was the guy responsible for having the idea. So my thumbs up to him.

Stealthman thought that it would be best to call it SoflaRX7.. in other words to add the number seven to RX.. after all.. we do welcome all rotaries anyway... and in some of our meets we have had RX-8's, cosmos, RX3, RX4, R100,a Rotary Pickup Truck. Last week i ran into a Honda Civic Hatchback with a 13B motor in it.. it had a Mitsubishi tranny.. How do you like that ?

So i believe that it should ultimately be SOFLA RX-7 CLUB

So maybe it should be the Miami Rotary Club or SoFla Rotary Club? Only issue I see with that is "Rotary International".

 

he went to the car show at blazing imports but in his mr2 bcuz he totaled his mx6.. but he told me that he bought a 2ng gen and is waitin for his 13bt and t2 tranny...
