thats just 1 thing that sucked
It's a parade lap, not a race. Who cares what cars are out on track? Don't be mad at the event organizers because you didn't get there in time.

I did see a few areas for improvement at the event, first off which being ticket price. $35 is not worth it for the quality of racing you see. Either do away with the infield parking pass or drop ticket price $10. I had quite a few people show interest until they heard what the ticket price was.

7 lap races suck! Most of the races were like 2 laps green, 4 laps double yellow, 1 lap green. Forget trying to squeeze "enduros" into the schedule, just split that lap time up between the sprint races so they are more then 7 laps.

Ditch the post-race interviews for every class in every race group. Nobody cares and you can't hear anything over the PA anyway. Instead of this show more racing .

On the plus side the 3 laps that the Benetton did made it all worthwhile. Next year get more F1 cars please!

I know you guys don't have much control over that sort of thing but you asked for it!

Sorry I never got the chance to swing by the tent Bill, I went that way during the slow group on Sunday afternoon and vendor row was empty. You guys got out of there quick.

Transportation shuttle(s) from vebdor's row to up and down that HUGE hill. Also giving us rotor heads the theme next year wouldn't be too bad.

dregg100 - food prices are high at all sporting events. Have you bought a hamburger at a pro baseball game or at a NASCAR race? Track side food prices are always high, everywhere. Plan ahead and bringing your own cooler is always the economical way to go.

Wow, no threads this year about the Mitty ... so I'm bumping this one up. It looks like I'm going to come down there again for '07.
