I definitely won't be able to make it down to Savannah anytime over the next few weeks. I work on weekends, and we are closing on the house on the 29th of this month. My schedule is absolute hell!! What all are we needing to do in Savannah that we cannot do over the phone?

As far as hotels go, if you look up Abercorn, HWY 204 and I-95 intersection there are alot there, plus you centrally located to everything, ie restaurants and whatnots. 204 id the main road with runs through SAV. alittle far from the beach but a (sometimesdepending on traffic) fun scenic drive.

luckily the 4th of July is much earlier in the week, so the 7th should be a pretty good day for us. Hopefully we can make our reservations for entertainment and hotels well enough in advance to accommodate everyone.

Who all wants to split a hotel? Money is going to be tight this summer... I have AAA so we can get a discount... and I know some of y'all have military discounts, as well. PM me if you want to split a hotel with us. We did this at DGRR and saved everyone a TON.

Are We Still On For Memorial Day Weekend???

 

I talked with Hondaslaya, and she mentioned that Memorial Day weekend would be pretty busy, which is true. If I don't go this weekend, I'll probably have to wait until the first weekend in June, which may work better for everyone, but that's getting seriously close to the time of the actual event. A month is probably barely enough time to give notice for a park or something, but we can, as Stina mentioned, probably set most of this up over the internet and phone. We could still meet up the first weekend in June, though, just to get a good idea of what options we'll have for a cruise and possibly photo op's.

Hey everyone,

I talked to Dana today about having the 7/7/07 Meet here at the shop.

We do alot of work with FD Performance (FJDRX7) and would like to offer out our shop and dyno to you guys.

We have a large parking lot (enough for 60-80 cars) and a small road next to the shop you could park on. As far as cooking and hanging out...if someone has a big BBQ we would have enough room to make food and all of that.

Dana and I talked briefly today and we thought about running the dyno for some of the cars...would you be interested in this?

wow! That looks like an AWESOME opportunity! I appreciate the offer! We would love to look into this more! Guys, what do you think about this? Looks like a really cool thing to do... dyno day for 7-7-07!! w00t! That parking lot is a perfect size for photo ops, too... plus if we do a cruise to the beach, we can set the cars up for some good shots, too.
