so i guess that means ur not going to this one?

Jamin, 2 1/8 is also the sixe for the flywheel nut. also, goodluck getting it off with an impact gun, you need a breaker bar with a long extender tube. that sucker is torqued to something like 290 ft/lbs! i can bring you my socket if you would like?

I had two gerbils lined up for replacement but my Rotties ate them... so had to go back to the using two mice...

I still haven't resolved the problem with the knocking. And haven't installed any of the mods that I had planed for last weekend. Life has gotten in the way of my mods again.

Otherwise I would be the first to be there!!! If I get them resolved from here to then, I'll be there!!!

Or you could just drive a few hours up to ernst's house and watch his brother do it in like 2 seconds.

*good times*

FYI
I have a twin plate Ogura clutch that I am getting rid of soon; about 3000 miles on it most of which driving from San Diego to Charleston. I need a light weight flywheel first. The Ogura is awesome for track / "spirited" street driving, but it is unsprung and engages abruptly. Not my style on the street since I drive my FC as often as she will let me. If anyone is interested let me know. Keep in mind this is a $1300 clutch & flywheel setup so I will not let it go cheap unless you have a light flywheel to trade also.

See you all Saturday @ 4PM still Kmart on Rivers, Right?

On the the flywheel issue I usually use a 4ft X4X4 piece of wood and go to town. it all just depends on how long its been there and what hell its been through. Jamie dont forget to tel me what the inside of that motor looks like. I wanna know what had it jammed too. that vert is so untouched everytime i pull something else off of it to fix or clean it I swear I hear madonna in the background! BTW I drove the vert yesterday WEEEEE! Its so great to be behind the wheel of a rotory again! Now Ill finish Zacks car tonight into the morning. Then its time for the go fast goodies on ther vert.
Lets see hmmm N1 GTspec,R/B header and presilencer, FD rims, T2 uim and lim, Timing adj, springs (undecided), tokico shocks, miata shifter, steel braided brake lines, crossdrilled rotors hawk black pads, Mariah mode 6 body kit. I gues that'll do till next summer.

cool.. glad to hear the vert runs! ill be taking the motor apart tonight, ill get some pics of the damage. from what i see through the exhaust ports, the front rotor is unharmed, the back rotor is another story.

about the meet, im not sure if we should meet earlier, cause it starts getting dark at 5pm now. We can meet up at Kmart on rivers, then do a cruise, then get something to eat. There is a battle of the street cars thing at lowcountry dragway that night too, so we can check that out if you guys want, i think its $10 to watch, $15 to race (no helmet required if your car is slower than mid 8's i believe)
http://lowcountrydragway.com/site_v2...lyer_botsc.pdf
then there is always the ricer meet at sams that usually starts after 9pm

and masin dont forget to bring the fender and door handle, thanks!! my fender has looked like crap for so long..

Yeah changed the plugs out and TII still won't start...??? Prob a ground or bad relay maybe? Its getting plenty of fuel. Any of you know Haltech? I'll show up in my Protege5; at least it's still a Mazda minus the Zoom-Zoom.

Well, we ran some tests and I do NOT have a boost creep, in fact it boost to 13psi, and then drops to 11psi and holds. However, we did notice that there's a sudden (4 or so psi if that) drop before it goes back up to 11psi and holds till cutoff. It's just a very quick thing, doesn't last long. But, my belt broke so I'm without a car for the moment. :P This just happend like 20 mins ago.

no the boost from the primary turbo activates the "door" for the secondary turbo to get gas presure and thats when it comes on the drop is due to the amount of presure required to actuate the flange.
