I went and got an engine from (rotarycrazy) that he had and im just waiting for some new gaskets, block-off plates, and clutch that i will be ordering this week.
Im going to replace the pilot and throw-out bearing also but not too sure about how that is done since i know you need a specail tool for the pilot..........
Jamin i will probably call you tomorow and talk to you. since you might not have work and i dont have school i could come get the hoist from you. Thanks for loaning it to me.

Tray can you get us route together that is not overlly long and has some good roads that we havent bin on yet since it is probablly getting old driving the same route every time that would be awesome abd I will start stock pilling on meat and what nots for the meet.
minda, how long of a trip are you wanting to go on? if i get the chance, i'll drive route i have listed and see how long it is...hopefully it will fall into our time constraints...if not, i will figure out something else...another idea is that we gather in asheville or hendersonville for lunch and end up at your house after the drive...but i know thats an 1/2 hour to hour of driving for everyone...but would allow us to get to some other roads quicker...
just let me know, ok?

well we need to keep this in about 3 hours or so not like some of the drives of 200+ miles that we have taken before inprovize or something
becouse I am working all the time right now and really have no idea of what roads are open and what not if you could check it out that would be great.
P.S. hows your car coming along?

well, i found two new things being a bitch on my car today... i have a leak either w/ my piston or the lines on my passenger side front brakes. my power steering seems to be messing up somehow?!?!?! it would go in and out and seem to get worse as the more i drove. it has a very low tolerance to driving the twisties now. so, im going to look into getting that **** worked out asap and most likely be able to make it to the meet.
Jon here is the rally lancer i was talking about

and some old school evo's, the #2 evo9 car won the rally

haha thats an 8 jamin. the 8's had the split grile like my lancer, the 9's had the one piece like the rest of the evos. looks gud dude. saw em on chas racing too. the lancer is the body style b4 mine tho. same engine, just has a returnless fuel system.
btw back on topic....does anyone know if the s5 n/a's came with a metal thermo housing or if a metal thermo housing works on the s5? seems alot better than plastic.

oh yeah youre right evo8 there all teh same to me lol. i think all the thermo housings were plastic.. havent ever seen a metal one. Did you narrow down you leak to the thermo housing?
yeah the patch job was bad, so my dad thinks i should just get a new plastic housing. i used to have what i thought was a ceramic thermo housing tho. too bad i sold it. some guy in west ashley named ken claims to possibly have a plastic neck, and a thermo, they just gotta check their garage.
there is a place called LKQ that is right next to Livingstons on Rivers and as of last week they didnt have any 7's....they had a t2 and 2 first gens that i was snaking parts off and i tryed to get things off of the t2 like the diff but when i went back the car was gone..
