That last pic finally came out, looks good. Yeah, Sam told me the news, I was hoping he had someone knowledgeable doing the swap instead of some crap shop like Dean's around here doing it. How far away from being finished? Did you guys build up his engine any before putting it in or is it all stock?

I need to clip the paint down again, but need to do some touch ups first. After you rode it in it, it put down 342hp/322tq. I put a new top end on my car since then, new ported heads, valvetrain, ported throttle body, ported MAS. Put down 410/399 at the dyno. It'll scare the **** out of you.

I'm the one doing the FC for Sam too. I painted the engine bay yesterday and the engine and tranny went in today.

215 to Parkway, to 276 and back home. *shrug* Just an ideas. But like someone else said, i'm not sure how I feel about driving through all of that salt...

could do 215...probably head up from SC11 on 178 then catch 215, take parkway (if not closed) and come down 276...to 64...and work our way back to 276 (taking 64 keeps you from going right through down town brevard and catching all the lovely red lights)

as for salt, if the weather is good for the week or so before the meet, there shouldn't be any thing to worry about. but if the parkway is closed, i'll go ahead and plan a back up route.

Another hard week and it'll be presentable. Cranking and painting this week. Engine is P&P TB & MAS, and a small cam, that's it.

That sounds like a fun trip Unfortunatly, I'm going (hopefully) skiing that weekend. Let me know how that runs works out. Sounds like it should be a fun drive. Think I'll take it the weekend after. If I don't... well someone PLEASE come help me put Zeta back together!!!

Zeta, like Catherine-Zeta Johns. Like Catherine-Zeta Johns, The RX-7 has a classic and beautiful look and even as she gets older, the more beautiful she becomes.

215 is a great idea... very fun and changing road w/ a badass place for pics. also, you can get on a brief section of the parkway to devils courthouse... also badass place for pics. but it is closed after that in both directions. salt... its all gone away probably by now. theres the latter section that we could drive. oh and if everyone wants... we could take 276 through the pisgah forest into downtown brevard and hop on the other 276 home (caesars head).

pics of 215:

just feeding the fire of something to do... its up to all of you.

as for 215...if we dont get on the park way, we can go up and come down and 215 intersects with 276 near waynesville...so go up 215, down the other side past the parkway, turn right onto 276, go up to the parkway, pass it and come down 276 past sliding rock and looking glass falls...i know how to get back to 276 WITHOUT going through brevard and messing with the traffic lights...i think it would be a good run....

masin, i think i said that if i can find another RX, i will attend the meet, i'm gonna see if my neighor wants to bring his (silver FD)...i might come down early and hide the black and white car and ride with someone if that would make u feel better? i have my fingers crossed i can pull off something i'm hoping to do in time for the meet...

straight at the light onto 64...go until u see the quarry on ur left...turn Right at that light...follow signs to Du Pont Forrest...(left...right at the end of that road) then right onto 276...drive a few miles and find the top of ceasar's head!!!

think any of us drive these roads a little too much for living 30 min to an hour away?!?!?

Long story short I just dont need it right now. Between the 4 sport bikes,2 dirt bikes, boat, WRX, and Im fixing to buy a new truck. SO the 7 is kinda in last place right now. The 3 yr old cant ride in it legally, the wife wont ride in it b/c of the 2stroke smell. I dont want it to just rot in the back yard till I can get use out of it.

Sorry Dont worry ill still be around not goin nowhere.

Long story shot I got ambitious when I started replacing the vac hoses. I started the simplified job and decided to remove all the emissions stuff, and replace the UIM with a ceramic coated one. Remove the double throttle, etc. etc. etc. Now she's spread out over the garage and I'm having to put her all back together! Oh yea, and I'm still waiting on some block off plates. Which is why this has taken so long... <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Next on the list, which I may start if I haven't gotten the block off plates yet, is to install a Push Start Engine Button and do the mod to have my CEL work with the PowerFC posted by

DaleClark.

Should I go on?

The vette is out of the way, when i checked last week, he was working on the last car that was ahead of mine. That is supposed to be done soon. I'm waiting on a turbo line to come in the mail, and when it does, i'm going to go check on it again.

I found the "funny old picture" on google images. Type in her name and there should be a picture of her and "whats his name" Douglas. But "really" old.
