PLAN B
Why not move the meet two weekends to the right.

Top 10 reasons to move meet:

10. I will not be here this weekend. So get a hotel or a long drive home...
9. Gives ALL of US more time to get our **** together.
8. Toby needs a drive shaft.
7. I will not be here!!
6. Masin needs about that long to set up some ***** or , everyone cross your fingers for him.
5. Jamin needs to get car on the road again (I'm one to talk)
4. I will not be here!! No BBQ, pooltable, or human crash site.
3. DJ has some awesome tickets.
2. Everyone else is bailing!!

AND FINALLY...............
1. I will not be here!!

So how about the weekend of the 15th??
I am finishing the pooltable, have 3 beds and a couch, and we can BBQ and watch football. Everyone should be finished with the cars also so a drive to the beach for some and
+11 I think this is a good idea too, besides i have to be in columbia saturday anyway, so i may not be able to make it either

and tobys car is pretty much undrivable now, the u-joint is only hanging on by a thread lol

I'm pretty sure you'll need a difft. counterweight, probably a difft. flywheel, and definitely a complete clutch system to include master & slave cylinders & line between them, clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, clutch pedal. There's probably more than that, but don't forget most importantly, SEARCH NOOB!

i wasnt going to say anything until i knew for sure, but i know for sure now. IM GOING TO SEVENSTOCK BITCHES!!!!! got the plane tickets tonight! so that means i wont make it to the meet on the 15th cause i gotta have money for **** out there!

either a stock flywheel or a lightweight one to go on your counterweight. clutch, pedals, master cyl., slave cyl., driveshaft, clutch line (rearend if you want a "true" manual swap) and you have to make a bracket to match the auto tranny crossmember location to the manual one.

why the **** are you welding aluminum in concerns to the x-member bracket.... that sounds like bad news bears. use 4" channel iron.

*Refer to Rotary Resurrections site in the tech section for everything you need to know about the swap. from parts you need, to instructions, and specs on your x-member bracket measurements.

in other news!!! we made the highlights on killboy.com haha. mission accomplished.

I think hes talking about welding the shifter mount back on.. the tranny he got from me had a broken shifter mount (due to a driveshaft u-joint breaking at 60+ mph ) it came off a 88 base

WTG Masin! I've been following the caravan thread and I had a hunch you might be going. It's a shame you're flying though, wouldn't you rather spend 5x more on gas?

bump

sweet masin, my dream is to one day make it to sevenstock lol take lots of video

anyway I got my car up and running last week (RTV ftw), and have it decently tuned. it only hits 6 psi on the wastegate spring, steady as can be.. pretty sweet. and the turbo is really quiet too. i suppose thats a good thing, b/c before it had a lot of shaft play and must have been making all the noise. i havent noticed much difference i power, but it is only at 6psi. i want to get an electronic boost controller to up the boost but they are expensive as hell

So, last Saturday i jammed my fingers at work, Sunday morning they were so swollen I couldn't move them much, and I didn't go to get my drive-shaft. But on Monday afternoon my brother got back from Columbia with my drive-shaft! So today I took the busted DS out, put the new (used) one in, so my 7 is running again.
Thanks bro.
